I’ve been talking to Nick back and forth the past couple of weeks regarding the documentary and I really want to give his documentary some exposure through the site. I’ve offered to host his documentary as well as all the interviews he did on the site via the Community section.
I was also thinking of putting the documentary in the podcast feed. It was put together so professionally that I thought the listeners would definitely find it interesting.
That and he plugs the site a lot! Giving the documentary exposure gives us exposure…so we all benefit.
Just wanted to give you a heads up on all of this.
If you haven’t listened to it yet, download it…it’s great!
Chris: You did a great job!
I was cut out because Nick said my audio was bad. Probably for the best.
I must confess I haven’t listened to the documentary yet, just because I’ve been really busy - however, I would say that taking part in an interview with Nick for the documentary he did a really amazing job. I’ve done bits & pieces of radio stuff over the years to do with the music side of things, and he is easily of a professional standard IMO!
As for adding the documentary to the ThunderCast feed, I’d be 100% in favour of that - the only caveat I’d add is that it might be worth you, Manny, adding a quick audio message to the start of it explaining what it is and how it came to be included with ThunderCast, just so folks who subscribe to the podcast via iTunes but don’t check this site or its forums for news that often aren’t surprised by this random documentary turning up in their iTunes! Aside from that, I’d give the idea a ringing endorsement!
