I got an e-mail from this site saying I should come here and introduce myself.
I go by the name Phoenix, but so many people have taken that name that I changed it to Reticent Phoenix. That is mostly true. I keep quiet unless I have something to say. I usually read what everyone else says and don’t say much.
I’m fairly easy to get along with, though I don’t have much tolerance for trolls or ignorant people that act like they know it all.
I’m in college, studying to be a professional illustrator.
I’m in the process of getting my own business started.
I’m new to Thundercats. I didn’t see it as a kid. I recently watched the first 80 episodes of the original series. Don’t be angry at me, but I thought it was very cheesy and poorly made. I know some might say, “Well that’s because it was in the 80’s.” The reasons don’t matter, it is just my opinion from the first 80 episodes that I saw.
I started watching the new Thundercats and I think it is amazing. I think it is well written, it is well paced, it is more realistic, the characters are more “human”, they conflicts are more natural and believable, the characters aren’t all perfect, but they have flaws just like anyone else, the animation is great, and I think the changes that were made are an improvement. This could easily become my favorite cartoon. I really love it. I love the mythology of it too. I keeps me wondering about the sword, their ancestry, Lion-O and Tygra’s relationship. I look forward to seeing how the season unfolds.
