Just speaking from the POV of an employee that actually cares and has gone through it. Retail is filled with people who don’t give a damn. And it makes the toy hunting process really hard.

You are right. Which is why I’d rather not work anywhere else. I like my job and try to make the best of it.
I don’t know if HQ will be able to do anything though. But wow, that employee was plain rude. What you’re supposed to do in a situation you think the store doesn’t sell something is give the customer an alternative.
So it goes with what I’ve seen on the system. They appear, but no shipment dates.
I believe they’re 12 per case? Bandai always has doubles in their cases for the figures they think will sell more.
Just checked the Toys R Us site…all their Thundercats stuff is not on the site right now except for the Thundertank which is In Stock.
It seems Grune is also in stock, but he’s hard to find.
I’m guessing they’re still getting everything worked out in the warehouse, OR they all went on sale and sold out already, lol.

I know the feeling! Last night at about 9:15pm I saw the posts about finding TC toys at Kmart. I jumped in the car and went to the Kmart 10 minutes away and found nothing. just for kicks, I stopped at the target across the street from Kmart and they had nothing yet either.
I was just so excited about possibly finding them at Kmart, but oh well. The search continues…

Just ordered 6" Lion-O and Panthro from toysrus. Now the waiting begins … 
How are sales? I suppose they wouldn’t have published any information, especially this early, but do you find that when you go to brick and mortar places, that they’re selling out or don’t have much left?
Just got back from a TRU in Gurnee, IL. They only had the 6” and Classic lines. In my opinion the 6” figures are very underwhelming. The 6” didn’t look that bad to me in the photos and reviews I saw here and elsewhere. However, in person they did not get me excited at all. If I had known, I would have skipped ordering them online. This doesn’t mean that I regret buying Lion-O and Mumm-Ra as they are my favorite characters and I included the 4” Mumm-Ra in my order which the store had none of. The fact that they are charging $18 for these figures is terrible. NO WAY are they worth that much. Maybe if they had a sound chip or something, but they only come with a few flimsy accessories. Not only that, but Lion-O’s joints have those stupid black pegs, which really bring the figure down. Complete rip-off for that price
I will say that the classics line is looking better in person than in the photos. Lion-O lost his helmet hair look, and looks like an overall fun figure. I can’t wait for mine. I did see a couple paint marks on the classic figures the store had, but nothing alarming. Truth be told the paint on the 6” is worse.
While I don’t regret my order, I don’t think I can continue collecting the new series line as is. I will hold out hope that Bandai will improve on their figures as they have done for Ben10 and Power Ranger lines.
Hi, I’m new here but, I ordered these figures from Kmart and they sent me random figures. It has been a real hassle. I think someone mentioned this in this thread but, just a word of warning for those who don’t know.
No dice here in RI for KMART or TRU for figures. Will check next week!
Scored the deluxe sword today at a K Mart. They had the 4 and 6 inch figures and the Thundertank as well but I held off on them. Looking for the classics.
No luck at my local stores, so I ordered the 4" series, thundertank, deluxe, and classics on TRU. Hopefully they aren’t disappointing like some are saying.
