It crossed my mind the last few weeks that it may be best to possibly consider adding a new Team Member. My thought process was this. The 2 main areas, Cartoon and Toys have more than one person co-managing it…particularly the cartoon section which currently holds 3 personnel working on it on an active basis; Kyle, Chris and Martin. For the Toys Section it is currently Neil and I and thats it and I think since the Toy Section is going at a very fast pace it may be necessary to add one more person with merchandise expertise so that the Merchandise section can get started. It is a major section IMO and with Neil and I working by ourselves I feel at times a bit shorthanded because after all we can only do so much between both of us. My thought was to add Matt as part of the Team to collaborate with his toys knowledge as well as his merchandise knowledge. He is by far the one person that is pretty active on the boards and has contributed immensely. It only makes sense to me to add him so we can see more of what he has to offer. Of course it also depends on the amt. of time he has to offer so that will be a deciding factor. Freely express your opinion here. I think bringing him on board is the final puzzle of to speed things even more and make TCL the best out there!!!
Like we discussed Manny, I think it would be a cool idea.
Especially since it looks like we will get new stuff next year and we would need to cover that as well. We might find ourselves with too much to do.
Though I’m keen to see what everyone else thinks.

Like I discussed with you the other night, MannyC, of all the Board members I think Matt is the one who would most benefit this site as a member of the team. It’s kind-of hard for me to judge the Toy/Merchandise side of things because that’s not my area of the site, but if you’d said to me “We have now got to pick someone for the team, who would you choose?”, 100% I would’ve picked Matt! 
I think the pivitol question here is, how much knowledge/content would Matt be able to contribute to the Merchandise area specifically? The reason I say this is because as I see it the LJN side of the Toy Section is reasonably close to being complete, with just a couple more articles, the Variations subsection and then some odds and ends still to add or that may be aquired along the way (more AFA graded figures, customs, stuff of general interest, etc.). So, what’s left as I see it are the mini-figures (which, on a side note, I think would be a great thing to build a big section about, because over the years I’ve found info on them hard to find on the Internet) and the Merchandise. If Matt has a lot of knowledge and info about those two areas to contribute, then I would give the thumbs-up to him joining the team!

From my conversations with Matt he seems to have much knowledge of the merchandise side of things. Unlike some of us who have only concentrated strictly on official toys (LJN, etc) he seems to actually have taken over the whole Thundercats theme. I know he would be able to contribute towards the cartoon area as well so as far as overall contribution he would be the one to talk to. He was the one who provided all the production material so who knows what else he has, I know he has scripts as well.

In that case, I’m going to vote in favour! Just to throw one suggestion out there, even though we’ve never done this before, if anyone had any doubts what we could do is bring Matt on board for a trial period, and see how things work out - however, based on what you’ve said I’d be confident enough without!

I’d be excited to see what this guy has to contribute - I believe the only team members not to comment on this so far are MannyF, Martin and Celesta, so actually you already have a majority! But, I’d nonetheless be interested to hear what the others have to say, particularly MannyF given that he’s the founding father and co-Admin of TCL!
