Alright. I take back anything negative I said about the pyramid. It’s looking really badass overall.
What’s up with the ancient spirits of evil statues. They are now statues of the mutants 
Except in this version of Third Earth tech isn’t new. It’s something ancient that they tell stories about. It’s part of their myths.
It’s only new to the Thundercats because their society shunned it.
I noticed that too.

But I agree with most of you, his pyramid looks totally awesome and evil.

It was scary and creepy just like Mumm-ra
It was hinted that the original ASOE, were an ancient race of mutants in the original series, with us actually finding out one of them was the Vulture King. I guess they expanded on that to actually make them ancient mutants this time around, which I like 
Who says they’re mutants at all? All we know is what they look like…which is really all we knew in the OS too.
In the OS there was a Vulture, a Boar, a Crocodile, and a Bull. Now it looks like a Jackal, a Hawk, and the other two aren’t as clear but the one labeled “Ratar-O” looks like the old Bull spirit to me or maybe a snake, and the one labeled “Monkian” could be anything as you can’t really see it’s head. It could be a Thunderian for all we know. Or even human.
So the 2 statues at the bottom of the picture are jackelman and vultureman as monkian and ratar’o are on top.
This leaves the question where is the lizards statue!?
To me It looks like the 4 spires on the corners of the pyramid may be hinged. From the looks of the cirlces on the bottoms of them.
In the premiere, when Tygra was chiding Lion-O for his interest in technology, Tygra specifically called it either “mythical tech” or “mythological tech.” I want to know more about this “myth” from the ThunderCats point of view. I want to know the stories of their myths on this.
The one labeled “Ratar-O” have two version, in the 1st one look like a “Rat” but in 2nd Look like a “Reptile”:

Yeah it looks like a lizard in that version. Especially with that thick tail.
I think this time they definately represent the Reptillians, Jackals, Monkians and Vultures.
