Hi all! You all seem like nice people and well informed on thundercats… the fact that you’ve got a custom intro from Larry Kenney or someone who sounds DEAD ON like him blew me away when I first visited the site, so I decided to enroll and become a postable member. I’ve never joined any of these message boards anywhere, but I’m pretty sure this is my best choice, so anyway, just thought I’d say hi and ask a few questions…
Anyone know where a thundercats timeline can be found? I read all the newer comics and the whole chronolongy about the sword being forged screwed me up…it seemed to me that Bengali was a child when the sword was made by his father, although I may be mistaken and the white tiger child I saw in the comic may have beeen his ancestor. But if true, that would make Bengali REALLY old, since the sword was first given to Lion-L, I believe his name was, at least Lion-O’s grandfather, if not great-grandfather; or do Thunderians just have ridiculously long lives? So whats up with that? I’m so confused…anyway I believe this was all laid out in Thundercats: Heroes and Villains or Villains and Heroes. These were in the newer comics and told backstories to many characters, and a partial history of the evolution of the Thunderians.

Welcome to the lair ThunderOtaku. As for you questions, you may want to post them in the Cartoon/Comics forum. We have some very knowledgeable people who visit that forum. From my own experience, I haven’t read the comics, so I am not familiar with the information you mentioned.
Chris is our resident Comics guru, he may know the answer to that. Or if not, Celesta, who could practically be considered a team member of the site may know the answer. And if they don’t know the answer, I’m sure someone else will gladly try to figure it out for you! I know I would be interested to know the answer.
Oh and the voice intro on the main page…that’s the REAL Lion-O…a little older, but a lot more wiser.
Your answer surprised me TCL-Manny, Your avatar is on one of the comics I mentioned. Opposite Jaga’s head on the other coomic is Claudus’ head facing the other way. No disrespect intended, just thought I’d mention it as an interesting (at least to me) bit of info.
Oh yeah, my avatar is from the origins cover of the recent ThunderCats comic series. I had planned on purchasing all the comics, but the from the very start, I wasn’t very impressed with the original story/plot that WildStorm did. After that, I didn’t really bother continuing with the series. So I’m not aware of what was written in the origins book…though now that you’ve said something about it, I may just have to grab a copy for myself and check it out.
