You were right about the PM’s Manny as they haven’t transferred over, but everything else looks great!

My Pm’s are still there on the old forum. What I mean is they haven’t transferred over to here. Thought MannyF did warn me that it was likely they wouldn’t.
Actually at the moment I’m not even getting an option to open my pm box at the top of the screen! It’s just says Welcome blackiecats and then states the time I last visited the forum.
Before when I first visited yesterday, it said you have 0 pm’s in your Inbox.

I saw your post on the old forum Neil about your post not showing up. Actually, they do show up when I view the thread, but there is an icon that says “moderated post” next to each of the replies. What that means, I have no idea.
As you guys can see, I’ve been trying to test out colors and features on the new boards. Once I figure out how to get rid of that “moderated post” notice, the board will go public. Hopefully, you guys can see this post as well as the ones you couldn’t see before.
EDIT: Also, Neil the PMs should have transferred. Mine did, although they are kind of disorganized. The messages I sent are in the Inbox and it also says I have 0 messages when I actually have A LOT. If your PMs did not transfer, the only thing I can say is I hope you guys saved them to your hard drive.

Something must have been set or something to stop posts showing up I guess until a moderator had approved them? Well it doesn’t matter now as everything is working ok and when I submit posts they are showing up now.

The admin has to enable PM’s and I dont think that has been done yet
Yeah, here’s the explanation: I have to set up two usergroups - the normal members, and the team members. When I created the usergroup for the team members, things went a liittle haywire. Fortunately, I was able to resolve the problem quickly.

That may have to do with the usergroup again. I received some PMs from a couple of other members, so I’m assuming that only the team members don’t have access to PMs. I will try to fix it.
EDIT: Hey Neil, when I go into the admin cp, the PM stats say you have 100+ PMs. So your PMs must’ve transferred, but you’re just don’t have access to it. I messed around with some stuff, so hopefully, you have access now. It should be the same exact thing as he-man.org.
Sorry about all the confusion guys. vBulletin has a TON of features and the admin control panel is overwhelming. Let me know anyone else is having problems accessing normal stuff.

mmm… I don’t think I had that many on the old forum! lol!
However I still can’t access my pm’s. Usually on he-man.org there is an option under the ‘Welcome blackiecats’ to access your pm’s. Well that isn’t showing up for me. I’m in no rush to access my pm’s so it isn’t really a problem as such.

Yeah, I bet it’s a real nightmare to work out. I just wouldn’t know where to start!

Since that problem has been resolved, can anyone tell me how MannyC has more post counts than I do? 
Hey i even check and post on the forums while i am at work
I have got my pm count down to a total of 37!
and after doing that it’s now displaying the pm count under Welcome blackiecats, which it wasn’t doing before.
That was obviously happening due to my count exceeding 100 (insert embarrassed smilie)
Oh, talking of smilies, is there a way to get them up so you can put them in your posts? or do we need to upload them in the future?
I have no idea about organising forums so I apologise if this is a dumb question to ask.
I had more than 200 posts in the old board. Weird!
As for the smilies, if you hit the reply button, you should be able to get the smilies just like on he-man.org.
If you use the quick reply at the bottom of the page, I don’t think you can see the smilies.
