Do you think that the new ebay policy of blocking people from seeing who is bidding on items over 200 dollars is going to lead to more shill bidding? I think it might as we now cant see who is doing what to report them. I think that might have been what happened with that Lion-o with battery. The same seller had a parademon moc with crushed bubble from super powers sell for over $300, I have never seen one sell for that high, heck Cyborg doesnt even sell for that much, and it had a crushed in bubble and creases in the card.
Do I have a valid point or am I just grasping at straws?
Hmmm, I also noticed that, but if someone is making their own prices go high, bidding on their own items, it could happen that they might winning their own item.. That would suit them right.
wow... earthquake here...

Man, this is the first time I felt an earthquake!!! It was “small”, I believe, some gijoe fell off the shelfs and the dvds just danced!! This must be something that don’t even get people of the bed in some places there in US, but this is new to me.. wow!
Im not too keen on the new policies, however I can see where Ebay is trying to protect the buyer. However it is easy to shill bid with this kind of policy. I dont know I just dont like it
eBay logs I.P addresses when you log in and also when you bid. They also do sweep checks on auctions for this but if they are only doing it on an auction here and there then it would not get caught. They have been working on something to prevent this for some time but I have not seen or heard of any changes coming.
