We finally get to hear Tygra, Cheetara, and Mumm-Ra speak. Mumm-Ra doesn’t sound quite like his old self, but still menacing. Cheetara doesn’t sound as old or deep as before, obviously. I like Tygra’s voice.

But again where’s Panthro?! lol
And it says Hour long premiere. Guess it’s just a two parter.
I have a feeling we won’t even see Panthro in the first hour of the series! He obviously doesn’t live in the kingdom + all the images and videos we’ve seen so far are probably from the first 2 or 3episodes and there is no panthro.
Likewise with vultureman and the rest of the crew.
Which is good imo, it keeps things fresh and it keeps us fans anticipated!
Well yeah I kinda expect him to not be there in the premiere either, but I just want to hear him talk! lol I think they could’ve thrown him in with this kinda promo.
I really like Lion-O’s voice and am much relieved to hear it! As for Cheetarah’s…well its just not her…at all…ever 
. As for the all important Tygra…wellllllll, I’m slightly disappointed as its so young and generic sounding, I thought the original was quite unique and showed his maturity (obviously they have cast Tygra younger in this run of the show so I suppose can’t rally complain about the lack of maturity in the voice!).
Awesome :D! This makes me happy. But I honestly wanted to hear all the Thundercats. Mumm-Ra sounds alright, bit too youngish for a mummy, may take some time getting used to him.
Slightly disappinted that it’ll be a two parter, 3 would have been great. I only hope that we do see Mumm-Ra by the end of the second part.

I’m a bit “iffy” on Mummra’s voice. Wish it sounded a bit more menacing. Cheetara’s is kind of generic… all the girls in these newer cartoons seem to sound the same.
Lion-O’s I really like however and Tygra’s is OK as well.

Thankyou sooo much for posting this. I have loved thundercats for years and I cannot wait for this cartoon to premiere. The voices sound great and I have to say I like mum-ra’s voice a lot. I would like to see panthro soon here too, even in animation form without the voice. Speaking of voices, seeing as there has been no announcement of the thunderkittens voices I reeeeeeaaallly hope that they actually talk and they don’t go with some less evolved (tails) not talking thing. That would be awful. (This is my first post

Mumm-Ra’s voice was ok. It was a quiet menace and I’m sure he’ll sound more threatening when he’s angry and especially when he’s in Everliving form.
Tygra was much younger than I expected him to sound, but he’s ok.
Cheetara wasn’t horrible, but wasn’t quite what I expected.
Lion-O sounded MUCH better than I expected.
Snarf at the end…sorta… squeaked. I don’t mind the not talking, but that wasn’t what I was expecting.

I like the voices. Mumm-a is creepy enough for me. Cheetara sounds good following her character in this show: she’s part of a mystic clan, ande she sounded mystic to me.
I loike the sound of Tyghra’s voice, although I’d have preferred it to be a bit more different, more unique I mean. Lion-O’s voice is really good too, but it bothers me that he sounded older than Tygra; maybe there should be an actor exchange lol
Tricky to judge based on 1 line each and I’m looking forward to hearing the new Panthro’s voice when the show starts.
If I had to guess, Panthro is probably going to sound like Bulkhead and Roadblock from Transformers Prime and G.I. Joe Renegades, respectively. Probably more like Bulkhead. They’re both voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, using his big guy voice. He actually has a pretty good vocal range, but he does get typcast a lot.
Ok, that got the ol’ blood pumping. I’m getting excited about the show now.
The only voice I’m unsure about is Mumm-ra but it’s only a small clip so I won’t judge the book by the cover.
I knew Cartoon Network would air ThunderCats around prime time. Most people are not going to be home around that time on a friday night (house parties, running the streets fighting crime, etc.)

Prime time on Fridays is actually one of their best time blocks. its the block that the shows I actually still watch from that channel airs (outside of adult swim.) Generator Rex, Clone wars, Ben 10, Young Justice, Batman B&B, etc.
Well seeing they are only one liners, I dont think we can base -that- much off the trailer but its a good tease never the less. I think the new voices sound good, Cheetara dosnt sound like a steriod pumping woman or man trying to sound like a woman (her voice always bugged me..). Tygra dosnt sound as gutteral, but he is younger and more ****y so it suits him. Lion-o is spot on in my opnion. Mumm-ra, still too early tell. But its a good tease.
While I am overall excited to have seen this on television, yesterday, I am with those to say it’s soon to tell on the characters’ overall voices. From what I’ve heard, it’s not bad at all.
However, I wasn’t expecting Cheetara to sound so young in this, but even her re-design indicates that she’s young in this series, so I am not complaining. We will just have to wait and see the premiere and additional episodes to make a fully analyzed opinion on the show’s voicework.
Cheetaras voice is as sexy as she looks.. I suspect alot of young boys going through the cat crush, LOL…
Tygras voice is spot on.. When his balls drop, he will sound awesome!!

Mummras, well.. wow… Noone will EVER top the original, but that voice is ace… A real menacing psychotic and extremely powerful voice… Cant wait to hear him go off on one Yea baby
