Okay people, with the new movie on the horizon it’s inevitable that a new toy line will follow:thumbsup:. So, let’s start, and start early in making our Thundercats action figures wishlist we’d love to see hit store shelves!

Personally, I’m already putting aside a cash reserve for some of the new merchandise, but regardless of how the Thundercats are “updated”, I’m dying for anniversary edition high quality remakes of the originals.
NEW TCats figs will be the most exciting part about the movie for me 
WB and their legal hassles are wasting time by withholding their merchandising rights to companies.
A new He-Man movie or perhaps the animated series from few years ago is not the reason the current MOTU Classics line is doing so well. It’s pure nostalgia, figures aimed at collectors who want the classic look, yet updated with better sculpts and articulation.
Instead of waiting to mass market the Thundercats franchise (to current kids) by coinciding with the movie, they should already start targeting the core audience, i.e. the 80s kids who have now all grown up and who are willing to pay top dollars for some quality classic look Thundercats figures.
By the time the new Thundercats updated character designs hit the internet, there is bound to be enough backlash that some would distance themselves from the Thundercats franchise all together or atleast from the movie and all things related to it, including merchandise.
And if WB sticks to merchandise based solely based on the movie, without considering the original Thundercats series, I would be very disappointed :(. And they are going to loose lot of potential sales, which eventually will lead to the false conclusion that Thundercats is not a profitable and hot franchise :eek:.
