These should be subscription or convention exclusives.
I think the Snarf, Snarfer and Ma-Mutt should come with a characters as accessories.
The 4x Berbils should probably be a set.
Snowman and Snowmeow should be a 2 pack.
Same with Luna and Amok.
A question for those past subscribers: does a two pack cost more than a regular figure? For instance if Wilykit and Wilykat were packed together would they count as one $30 offering?
Nah, two-packs usually cost exactly the same as two single figures would have; it’s more just a way of getting figures more quickly than a cost-saving thing.
They did do a ‘sidekicks’ two-pack (Kowl and Loo-Kee) with two small characters for the price of a single regular figure, which could be a way to do the Snarfs, Berbils, Ma-Mutt etc.

They also did Cringer as a pack-in accessory with a regular figure, though, so that is also a possibility.
Thanks for the info. If that is the case I would probably prefer to have any main characters packaged seperately. I do still like the idea of a berbil pack though.

I’m interested to see which characters they will do as oversized figures.
In MOTUC, we had figures that were a bit bigger than normal, for about $5 more than a regular figure, e.g. Ram Man. I see them possibly doing the Mumm-Ra TEL toy like this; it would be awesome if he stood about a head taller than Lion-O, with trailing bandages everywhere.
We also got steeds, e.g. Battle Cat. Characters like Snowmeow seem a shoe-in for this treatment.
We also got oversized beasts, ranging from fairly big, e.g. Gygor, to giant, e.g. Tytus, to absolutely huge, e.g. Granamyr. So really, they could cover anything from a Luna/Amok pack to a huge Black Widow Shark or something, especially if these first five figures sell well enough for us to get quarterly items next year.

Just noticed that the sub price dropped to $25 per figure, $30 for the exclusive and $30 day of sale price. That should help some of those that were on the fence about subbing up.

I am assuming that this works out fine for all of us that already subbed as we have only been charged for Mumm-ra anyway. This is certainly good news!
When you add it to your cart, only the sub fee is $25, and the rest are still $30. This is very confusing. Matty needs to get their act straight.

My hope is that there was high initial support for the sub, which gave them the ability to move the prices lower. Or they saw that people were upset about the price hike and adjusted accordingly. Either way that’s good news and will no doubt get people to sub. My only question now is…WHY THE HELL ARE THEY NOT PUSHING THIS SUB MORE!!! They should at least make an update on the price adjustment.
Yeah, a forum post or SOMETHING to clear up the confusion on the price would be really nice.

I completely agree. I will support this Thundercats line either way, but it doesnt lend much confidence for those on the fence.
So each figure is still priced at $30. The only difference is new subscribers now have to pay $25 for the Subscription (Mumm-Ra figure), while all existing subscribers ended up paying $30 for it.
I am guessing the subscriptions are not really picking up as they hoped for, so this price drop is to entice more new buyers.
I am okay with the price change, if it really results in the spike of new club members thus fully green-lighting this line.
But this practice of sudden price drop then also really enforces the idea that there is no real incentive in subscribing early and supporting the line, cause Mattel doesn’t seem to care about the early club members. If an email notification was sent to all existing subscribers that they are officially slashing the prices and that everyone would be refunded $5, most wouldn’t mind the price change.
I wouldn’t worry as I’m quite sure EVERYONE will be paying either $30 or $25 per figure, regardless of when you subscribed. As for the price change, I actually think the opposite as you Vivek, in that they have had such early demand (BEFORE we get to the New York Toy Fair reveals!) that they are now confident they can hit the numbers to offer these to fans at $25 each.
It isn’t Mattel’s style to reduce prices to entice more buyers. Especially not after just 5 days on sale!
When Berserker said it was $25 per figure, I thought it was just $25 per subscription figure.
Now going through the subscription page description, each figure is indeed priced at $25
" Subscription Cost: Monthly subscription includes one figure approximately every month beginning in September, plus the club-exclusive Mumm-Ra. The total commitment will be $125, not including applicable fees/taxes and shipping (varies depending on your location and the shipping method you choose). This includes 4 figures @ $25 each and a $25 membership fee that covers the cost of the club-exclusive figure. "
I think I better get used to this incompetence from Matty’s website and their service. To keep myself calm, I need to learn to just laugh it off as this is going to be part of the collecting experience for another few years.
Oh in that case this is good news :). Hopefully they will send an announcement soon.
If this price drop is true then they have got themselves another subscriber.

Hey, as long as us guys that have already subbed get our $5 back, the figures being cheaper is good news to me, just wish they’d take five minutes to type out an update on their news page.
