For me, the order and the invoice showed the full amount ($183.75), but the pending charge on my card is indeed for $32.66. I think we’re safe.

Yeah, they do this for MOTUC every time, too; lord knows why they can’t make it more clear, I’m sure it puts a lot of people off. They only charge the $30 now (If you go monthly, the total in your checkout is $60 + shipping because they list the first figure, but again, they only charge you the $30 now).
Bear in mind anyone not sure about this, you have over a month to sub, so feel free to wait and double check with people that ordered today how much has come out of their account.

Yep showing 180 for me too. I am out as well.
Maybe you can e-mail them just to make sure or people with more experience with the subs can explain it better. I am also a newbie with subs. It is just how the he-man 2016 classics worked. I saw on my statement that they just charged me for the club figure and nothing else although when I purchased the sub the total had the two figures + postage.
I know I was a bit skeptical on getting the TC sub when the price increased but I know myself and I will probably get one. I just have to figure out single or monthly.

Yeah, they never show up on that page till the first figure ships, never understood why. (you can confirm the sub under My Orders in your main account page, though)

Some fans on Matty’s FB page are quite angry and frustrated about the price increase, also about Jaga and Grune not being included. And I certainly don’t blame them. I just hope we don’t see a big dip in subscriptions with many backing out now due to those factors.

Subbed up for 3 and was only charged for 3 Mumm-Ra’s. So don’t worry about the full charges showing up. I’m so stoked for this line to come out and just want it to continue so we can have a nice collection of figures to display. There are so many “what if’s” and almost’s from the Vintage line. I would love to see this expand and encompass all those figures and vehicles we wished we got back in the day.

Anyone still worried about getting charged for the whole line should realize that you will be charged only for the subscription fee (aka Mumm-Ra figure), whether it’s one or multiple subscriptions.
Judging by those FB comments, some are getting the price of $70 listed for their subscriptions. I wonder why is that. Even if they buy two subscriptions it should be $60+

I totally agree with you. Yes…a price increase is never good…and postponing jaga and grune is a bummer…but lets please not loose sight of the big picture…WE ARE FINALLY GETTING FULLY ARTICULATED TC FIGURES!..Mattel is taking risk and i still thank them for that…lets give it the chance it deserves…this is it for TC…if the fans dont support then the message is going to be loud and clear…that there arent TC fans…a few months ago all TC fans (including myself) thought this line was dead…just like with anything that is in collectors market, prices are going to be a little bit higher…its a investment designed for adults and collectors… i already got my sub…I have a feeling that even though there is an increase in price these figures are going to be AMAZING!..and as they reveal them one at a time fans are gonna want them…im still on cloud 9 imagining fully articulated LUNATAKS, Demolisher, Mandora…etc…ive waited 20 years for this line…if it delivers as awesome as MOTU, its worth the $5 extra…

Very well put. This line is going to be a big financial commitment for me, but I fully support it. I am willing to cut back on other things in order to purchase them. As you said, after waiting so long this is a great chance to get the great characters in figures that we have wanted since our childhoods. I hope that we will all support it in the best way we can!!

Yeah, same. Putting my money where my mouth is and supporting the line to prove that the demand is there. I’d really love them to make all the Cats and Mutants and then give us the Lunataks, the important supporting characters, and if the demand is high enough, even a few vehicles. Now I just have to hope the toys themselves knock it out of the park and prove our support worthwhile.

Got my subs…I can imagine how confusing Matty Collector’s website is for people who have never dealt with them. So many things that don’t make any sense…crazy totals, subs not showing up under my subscription until they ship, etc. I’m used to them from MOTU, so I knew what to expect. at least they finally said something, but they are going to have to get their stuff together and start communicating more like they used to.
I can see the Thundertank happening as the first vehicle, it would be massive judging by some of the MOTU vehicles. The mutant vehicles would be great too. Thundercats vehicles were much cooler than MOTU. The mention of access to the 2016 chase figure was interesting…ghost Jaga? At least we’re getting a SDCC item, and I’m sure Grune and Jaga won’t be far behind.

Yeah I have bought and sold hundreds of items all over the world. I have only had customs seize packages three times. As far as I know it’s because the value of said items was on the declaration form, at least that’s what they told me. Sadly no way of getting out of paying when they have your items.
It’s just the more expensive the item, the more customs charge. I bought a really rare Japanese robot (Dai X from Star Fleet X Bomber) and it cost near £300 but the customs would not release it until I paid an extra £70. I would hate to think what they would charge for a full years subscription worth of figures.
Maybe things have changed now, I haven’t been buying figures from overseas in a couple years. Only started picking up cheap Marvel Legends figures these last few months.
