It did say 9am PT earlier (5pm UK time) now it states TBD so i guess it won’t be today.
I shall be fuming if it goes live during the early hours of the morning UK time, don’t want to miss out.
Okay they finally updated it to TBD, so that’s something. I think we can relax now, since the actual sale date will now likely be announced few days in advance.

Believe me you wont. There will be more than enough subscriptions for a good while.
Mattel have a history of scaremongering, especially when Toy Guru was there with MOTUC.
There was always the posts and videos pleading for more subscriptions to meet the goal so they could keep the line going, thermometers that were not updated and miracle 11th hour last minute subs to meet the goal. One year it didn’t meet the goal yet Mattel kept the sub open anyway and by the end of the week they had enough.
I recall one site Mattel said they used the subscriptions to know how many figures they had to produce. Which was 6 months before the first figure in the subscription would get released. Yet in another post/video they said it took over a year to produce the figures for the subscription.
Take my word for it, don’t invest too much trust in what Mattel say.

I’ve collected MOTU from the beginning and had multiple subs every time. I’ve never had any problems at all with my subs. I’m afraid I may go a little crazy with the Thundercats subs, especially because Pumyra is coming so soon.

Well at least we finally have confirmation. I am still very excited about this line and having to wait just gives me more time to consider the shipping options.

Yeah, maybe it was a typo and it’s still February like originally announced. Never mind, still really excited about the starting character line-up and hopefully we’ll all love the toys and have a great time collecting them. Ever since MOTUC started I had a dream that there would be a similar arrangement for Thundercats; monthly figures, Four Horsemen and all, so it actually happening is amazing.
I’m guessing how ‘deep’ they go into character selection in future six-month blocks will depend on how well this first one sells, but I know there’s a lot of us TC fans out there hungry for great toys of the classics. The dream now is that the figures are cool enough and sell well enough that we get a complete character selection like MOTU did, and even stuff like the vehicles.
Did I hear that they confirmed an SDCC figure as well for this year? Any more toys in a year are welcome, but I hope the Thundercats line avoids the frustration of scarce ‘chase’ figures and frantic sale day scrambling for exclusives that the MOTUC line saw.
Overall: SO EXCITED! This could finally be the Thundercats toyline we all deserve!

The problem with Digital River is there website software is archaic, which does not make updating payment and order details easy once the sub order is placed. To update your info you have to contact their customer service. Once the first figure has shipped in July you can update card, address etc… on their site easy enough (but not until after the initial order figure, in this case Lion-O, has shipped) My advice to anyone ordering is to use a card that doesn’t expire any time before July!
Personally, I’ve never encountered a single problem with Digital River in 7 years of dealing with them for Masters of the Universe Classics.

In regards to the sign up sale, from what I know it hasn’t actually been officially announced by MattyCollector. It seems like someone stumbled upon the sales page they had prepared and spread the link. I personally don’t think it will go up until nearer the time of New York Toy Fair

Digital River have a standard shipping calculation based on number of items rather than exact weight, so your shipping estimates should be correct
I haven’t decided yet on how many subs to get… DHL starts to become a better option for 4 or more figures so I might go DHL monthly if I get 4 subs. For anyone interested, here’s the shipping costs for UK/Europe shipments. Thing to note DHL is fast and includes tracking where as International Post doesn’t.

Stock is held back for replacement. I used to sub quarterly for MOTUC and never had a problem the replacement I asked for.

You see this highlights my problem with Mattel in that we can’t just take their word for what they say. So when they say a certain figure is sold out on their site, preventing people from just buying it on the day of sale, they actually have some stock left over in case X amount of people have faulty figures.

Not sure yet, I get one to open and one to keep for sure. Maybe one more… for customizing, trading, etc.

Ah 2-3 subs. Fair enough. I recall people on He-Man.Org and when they said they were buying multiple subs, they were buying 17±at least 35! Which I think is kind of crazy.

Probably around February. I am guessing after Toy Fair as that will give them chance to actually show the figures in the subscription and hopefully some for 2017.
