Maybe this is old but still. I’ve never seen all these names before. Found them on the Thundercats wiki. Have not yet confirmed any of it but just as said before, i might just be slow.

Well there is said that there are gonna be 52 episodes in 2 seasons. Splitting that in two would make it 26.

On wikipedia it says the series is made with 13 episode arcs. My guess is that there is one season before and after summer if you get what i mean. which would mean that up until now there is 13 episodes. From January til summer there is gonna be 13 more which covers “season one” etc etc.

Well for kicks I’ll take a look at these titles and guess and/or joke about what they might be about.

014 New Alliances December 2, 2011 = T-Cats make some new friends with possibly familiar faces to us fans. Hachiman? The Snowmen of Hook Mountain? Warrior Maidens? Maybe even Jackalmen, Monkians, or Vulturemen that are in some way tormented by the lead character from the original show.

015 & 016 Trials of Lion-O; Parts-1 & 2 December 9, 2011 = This series’ version of The Anointment Trials? Oh I’ll be interested in this two parter if that’s what it is.

017 Native Son December 16, 2011 = Maybe a story explaining Tygra’s origins and how he came to be adopted into the family of Lions.

018 Survival of the Fittest January 6, 2012 = That is such a generic title that I can think of about a million things they could do with it that would fit, ha ha.

019 The Pit January 13, 2012 = Same as above really. Hopefully they don’t recreate the “Locket of Lies” episode because I wasn’t a fan of that one, lol.

020 Curse of Ratilla January 20, 2012 = The Rat characters are coming in! I’m all in favor of that! Maybe this will be the door to get Ratar-O in the show, which could be awesome. Now maybe they’ll just go ahead and call the Rat Warlord Ratilla since Ratar-O might sound a little too close to Lion-O & Lynx-O.

021 Birth of the Blades January 27, 2012 = Anything having to do with blades or swords, I immediately think of Hachiman, but I thought that with the Drifter/Duelist episode as well.

022 The Forever Bag February 3, 2012 = That sounds like the name of an item in a Zelda game, Heck, that might be what Link holds all of his magical items in, lol.

023 Recipe for Disaster February 10, 2012 = They’re introducing Snarfer, aren’t they?

024 The Soul Sever February 17, 2012 = Snarfer gets a girlfriend, doesn’t he?

025 & 026 What Lies Above:Parts-1 & 2 February 24, 2012 = I hear that and I think of the T-Cats having to deal with a society of birds…Vultureman perhaps?

They all sound like they could be legit, though I don’t think the air dates are accurate (Thundercats is taking a holiday break isn’t it?).

For New Alliances it would be cool if we got to see Lynx-O, Balgus and Pumyra OR see Slythe make an alliance with Jackalman and Monkian.

Toonzone forums releases Cartoon Network’s premiers for the month and the November premier post lists everything from November 1 to December 4 and there’s no Thundercats listed on December 2. I’m not sure what the source is for the premier info on Toonzone, but they are generally accurate from what I’ve seen.

Probably as we are gonna get a “December 2011 Premieres” i assume? If they release one every month and the rest of the episodes comes there.

Would not make sense to have a big break then show some episode then taking a break again. If they continue like this they are gonna kill the show.

We’ll get the December premier list at the end of November, but this premier list covers November 1 thru December 4--it always has some overlap. There’s nothing listed on it for Thundercats on December 2.

Sorry but a wiki can be edited by anyone–that same wiki said “Into the Astral Plane” and “Between Brothers” would be aired on the same day for a short while. In addition all the citations for these new episodes is listed as the August Premier thread on Toonzone, even for the episodes that aired after August.

It doesn’t make sense, but Cartoon Network tends to give it’s shows long/ a lot breaks. They put Young Justice on a 6 month break (though that was uncommonly long) but a lot of their shows get breaks, usually a couple weeks to a month when it’s not between seasons.

That argument that you should NEVER trust a wiki cause anyone can edit one does not work at me. When wikipedia was new we never got to use it in school cause of “unknown sources”. What happend with it? As far as i’ve read the thundercats wiki it’s never been wrong. Regarding the dates i don’t care much. What i care about more is the titles.

The episode titles are probably legitimate, but the dates aren’t. I have no faith in CN not forcing another long break on us. I really don’t understand why they do this, it doesn’t make sense.

I care more about the titles as well. I’m really looking forward to Trials of Lion-O since it could lead to some cool challenges for Lion-O. The Forever Bag sounds cool too because it could be an episode that puts more focus on magic (I know there’s a lot of magic in the show already, but I’d love an episode with more emphasis on it).

I wonder if the Forever Bag is an actual bag that can fit any number of items, and Lion-O puts the sword in there and loses it. That would be kind of funny :stuck_out_tongue:

I agree it would be cool if the put Balgus in the show, but I haven’t been contacted about making an appearance. :wink:

anyway the list is completely legit. I posted it way back in July (before we knew more than 3 or 4 titles) and most of the broadcasted episodes line up with what’s on the list. but keep in mind this was an early leak and a few titles were changed before broadcast. for example the war forgers (which was an early name for the wood forgers) was changed to the forrest of magi oar.
