So last weeks episode gives us some more of the way back to the back story. I’m starting to form an mythos in my mind of what’s going on. Obviously this is just a bunch of theory and guessing, but I’m wondering what y’all think.
Here’s what we know:
Mumm-ra was once in charge of everything. The TCats where his servents, though treated well. All the other mutant animals were more like slaves. Mumm-ra was searching out a number of items that would give him more and more power. The Cats, along with the other mutants, rebelled. The ship crashed and the survivors we left in near iron age level of technology. The TCats still remained the dominate race, those they lived in isolation from much of the rest of the planet. The Lizards were apparently their biggest foe.
Fast forward a few centuries… The TCats still remain dominate, those even more isolated. They know very, very little of the rest of the planet. Grune/Mumm-ra/Lizards banded together to over throw the TCats.
Now the conjecture takes over… I do not believe that Third Earth our Earth. I do think that it’s ment to be in the same universe as our planet, but sometime far into the future. Mumm-ra was probably some how tried to ancient Egypt. Whether he was a product of our Earth or and Alien I don’t know. I’m guessing that he was someone limited/caged/gravely injured in ancient times, but eventually returned to near full strength. He probably attempted to enslave humans, but humans proved to ingenious and resistible to his efforts, and so he wiped them all out. He mutated animals to give them human qualities (inventiveness, intelligence, dexterity) while still retaining their species specific traits/abilities.
Using his new servants/slaves, he built his space ship and resumed his millennium old mission of finding the power stones. Unfortuantely, for him, he made his new servants/slaves a little too human-like and they rebelled.
