Hi! It may appear grey because of the poor quality of the picture, but it’s a standard Mumm-Ra figure, not a variant.

It’s hard to tell from the picture but the paint job looks inferior. What does the bottom of the foot say. Does it look like someone repainted it? The originals skin was not painted but was the color of the plastic.
Maybe you could post a picture of this figure and another Mumm-Ra figure placed side-by-side for comparison. But somehow, like “thunderianroyalguard”, I too feel that it is a standard Mumm-Ra figure. It’s just the picture that makes it look greyish. 
Here are some pictures of the regular Mumm-Ra figures from Ebay. As you can see, many look grey just because of the lighting, camera, fading due to age, exposure to sun etc. but in reality are the standard figure. Not a variant, not rare.

I just looked at a pic on my Mumm-Ra and he definitely went a bit duller over the years.
