With a name like the “Storm Charger”, it seems probable that the relevant parties are already exploring the idea of making a toy of Mumm-Ra’s mobile tomb (this is purely an educated guess–no word from Bandai or Warner Bros. one way or the other).
Based on its design, it would likely be a remold of the Thundertank, despite seeming to be much larger in the cartoon.
Any thoughts?

I would guess that is the next vehicle. It seems more likely they produced the vehicle at the same time the design was put in for the cartoon.

I doub’t it would be a remold of the Thundertank. It’s too different for a repaint to work.
They’re probably waiting to see how the Thundertank and Tower of Omens sell. I’d imagine they might want to have the option to combine the Storm Charger with a Pyramid playset.
I would definitely buy this if they made it!
The first second I saw this I thought “well looks like we will be getting a new evil tank to go against the thundertank for the toys”
There is no doubt in my mind we will be getting this as a vehicle.
I’m sure we’ll see this if the Thundertank sells well. I HOPE so! I think it’s really cool. I bet it’ll have the feature where it can either be flat or stand up with the head vertical like in the cartoon.
I’m also sure it’ll be a totally new mold for those reasons and the fact that it really doesn’t look anything like the Thundertank.
Eh, the core might be original, but I’m pretty sure the side treads would be mild tweakings of the Thundertank’s (remove the claws and remold the cycles).
After watching the ep again, forget the kids, I WANT the tomb tank thingy!
I like how the sides of the head (sarcophagus) are in the shape of an egyption headdress. I wish I had a picture of it in the uprite position in the pyramid but I couldn’t find any.
How did you find out it’s actual name?
I think it would make sense to manufacture it for kids role play. You already have two kinds of Mumm-Ra, the frail mummy toy and the ever-living toy. Create a toy of this and kids have a roleplay toy to transform him.
I suspect they’d make a smaller Storm Charger to include with a Pyramid set the way the Thundertank comes with smaller non-ride-able Thunder-racers.

I think I just worked out why it’s called the Storm Charger!!! Not sure if anyone else has come up with this theory (since thinking about it, it is fairly obvious…) but I’m guessing the obelisks on Mumm-Ra’s period rise up vertically and are conducters of lightening (from a rain storm) and then the lightening charges up the Sarcophagus, which gives Mumm-Ra his power as well as powering up the Storm Charger! 
It does look like the obelisks are hinged at the bottom.
But how would they power it up when he’s on the go?
I’d assume it’s only charging up when inside the pyramid, in the main chamber. While on the go, the power is draining down all the time while it’s away from the pyramid. After so long he has to take it back to the Pyramid to replenish its powers, as well as his own via the sargophagus.
