Found this (LAST ONE!) at Walmart on Bethel Road in Dublin, Ohio (near Columbus). $29.95… The Tuttle Crossing one has them IN-STOCK, but told me point-blank they are NOT opening them for anyone! They plan to put them out in the next day or two (along with ALL the wave 2 figures AND 6" figures they ALSO have in stock, but wont open).

Comes in the normal box with pics of upcoming toys (nothing we haven’t seen before). The inner box has NO TIES!!! Just the Figurine and the Storm Charger in bags with directions.

The Figure: Mumm-ra is, as we feared, essentially a “Happy Meal Toy”. No posability, and has button batteries inside his back. Even has the tab you pull out to “activate” him. BUT, you CAN replace the batteries. AND YOU WILL NEED TO! See, once you plug him into the ****pit, his HANDS STAY ON. Definitely remove him from the Charger for long-term display or storage. Two-tones of molded plastic: Red and Grey, plus the LED hand lights. He does NOT light up on his own. Only when in the Charger.

The Vehicle: This looks AMAZING! Dead on perfect, great paint and STURDY! The eyes on the top of the tank GLOW RED when Mumm-ra is inside. Looks GREAT in a dark room! Press the button to the right of the ****pit/face and the ****pit door closes automatically and the Charger REVS and ROLLS! It BOLTS fast (and runs off 3 AA batteries, not included)… Does not turn… Just in a straight line. And you must hit the button again to turn the engine off. Hit soft to turn off, hit until it CLICKS to open the ****pit again. Smaller than the Thundertank, just barely (almost the same if you remove the “bikes” from the Tank). Like I said STURDY! ****pit door goes on GREAT (Unlike the Thundertank, LOL)!

The box has 3 pieces: Figurine, Tank and ****pit door. Easy to get going, and its actually kind of fun… Sorry my pics are so poor… Only had my old camera ready to go. Was just so excited to share…

Kinda surprised 3 Columbus TCats fans found this board. I knew I should of stopped by that Walmart today! It’s the closest one to me! Bah.

Corrections:
The Figure DOES work/Light up on his own if you touch his Thunder Lynx connection point with metal on his back

And the Charger DOES shut the engine off after about 30 seconds.

Despite the box saying SOUND, the ONLY sound is the actual motor moving… not an Effect.

I will have to check over at tuttle later this week. Really want the Storm Charger and wave 2.

Can the normal release mummra squeeze in there?

Yes!

Original Wave 1 Decrepit Mumm-ra fits in, but take the cape off to plug him into make things work.

No Storm Charger YET at Tuttle, but Wave 2 4" are in!

thanks for posting, my girlfriend is actually more excited than i am for this thing, i just hope its not a substitute for a mummy tomb playset, i hope with allthe recent improvemenst of the 4 inch line with wave 2, that we get a tomb for mumm-ra, lol. other than that i love this vehicle,and im glad we can put the wave 1 mummy mumm-ra inside it, and maybe thats why they made his cloak removable? i cant wait to find this thing, and i ve already completed wave 2 4 inch basics, still working on wave one deluxes, only the hunderracers and the lion-o and tygra deluxes, and the slithe deluxe, has any one seen the slith anywhere, and are the 4 new figures the only basics for wave 2? im talking about claudus,panthro , lion-o and mumm-ra the everliving?:liono
