I just thought you guys would like to see how the Original Comic Art Gallery is shaping up - these are all for the Marvel Comics subsection of the gallery. They don’t all connect to each other yet, but they will do when the gallery is completed!
These pages complete the Marvel Gallery subsection of the Original Comic Art Gallery - next I think I’ll work on the UK Gallery, just because there are few enough pieces (plus a bunch that MannyF has already watermarked) that it should be an easy one to do!
The only problem I’m seeing is with the nav bar again, as when you move the cursor on ‘Toys’ it links to the Cartoon section. Also the links for comics and merchandise are incorrect as well. Seems to be the same problem I had with the Thundercats in the UK page I had a go at a week or so back.
Aside for that those pages look fantastic!
Oh, will probably be on Skype tonight from around 10.30pm after The X-Factor final if you wanna chat for a bit, Chris. Anyone else is welcome to join if they want to! It’s 5.30pm ET time.

Hmmmm, I have no idea why that could be happening, for as far as I’m aware when I created those pages I used the same template that Kyle & I have been using for the Cartoon Section - I’m out of my depth there, I’ll ask Kyle to take a look at it when I next speak to him!
Believe me, I know the feeling! I doubt I’ll make it into the small hours either as this week like yourself I seem constantly tired - but, I will try and make it onto Skype at some point this evening as it’d be good to catch up! Like yourself, my Saturday evening tonight revolves around the X-Factor final - at points throughout this series I’ve voted for both Leona and Ray so I have no idea yet who I’m going to vote for!

It was cool talking saturday night Chris! I said I didn’t want to go into the small hours, yet I stopped on, talking to Jon until like 6am! Madness! I had about 4 hours sleep and got up again at around 10am to go out christmas shopping with my dad seeing as sunday is the only real opportunity we both had. Had to record Lost last night as I just couldn’t stay awake! Had a very early night at around 6pm (only getting up briefly) to start the recording of Lost and Torchwood at 10pm and then back into bed!

Cool, thanks for LMK! Here are the first few gallery pages for this subsection - I’ve had to alter the template very slightly to add a credit for colouring these, and one or two of these images are quite tight to the lines of the template - please can you guys LMK if everything loads and looks OK to you? One of the most exciting discoveries I’ve made putting these pages together is what the first two pages of Tim Perkins’ unused pencils were likely to have been originally created for! Check out my comments on those two pages - hard to believe that two of the most exciting and unique pages of original ThunderCats comic art you could find anywhere are ones that we were already showcasing, with no idea as to how special they were!
EDIT: Just to add, I’ve also created the first page of the Miscellaneous subsection of the gallery - again, please can you guys LMK if this page is OK?
My only advice would be to get the nav bar issue sorted before making anymore pages, otherwise your gonna spend ages correcting it on all the finished pages
If you guys could take a look at these and LMK if they all look and work OK (barring the nav bar issue at the top), that would be excellent - many thanks!
Re: the navigation bar issue - I’m going to contact Kyle and ask him why he thinks this is happening, because as far as I’m aware I’ve just been working from the template that I was given! :? I have a suspicion that the oddities we may be seeing here (bearing in mind that this has happened to both of us Neil, remembering the TCats in the UK page that you did for me) are because of working in the new template whilst the old one is still “live” on the site. I don’t know, I may be barking up the wrong tree, but that would be my suspicion. Hopefully it’s something that can be sorted - with the new-look site relaunch happening in just over a week, I can’t afford any delays!
