A friend wants to give me one! I feel a little guilty accepting it, but she claims her local comic book store guy said it was worth $20 in store credit. Aren’t Cosmo Cats more sought after than Thundercats? What would the value be?
Guilty??? Id say take her whole arm…LOL I havent seen any to my recollection so its pretty rare if you ask me plus its a rather cool item to have with the Cosmo Cats header. Give her $30, its def worth it

I say if your going to add it to your collection and not sell it, give her $50 bucks for it, but if your looking to turn around and immediately make a killing off it on eBay, then yeah, you probably would have a guilty conscience. I think I would, if it was a friend.

I’ve been watching WWE since I was a kid. Actually in the 80’s I was all WWF, then in the 90’s, the best years of wrestling in my opinion, I was a WCW/Nitro, and ECW (original) guy, then when the product got stale on all sides, I stopped watching.
I started watching again last year and have been watching since. The product has been great as of late. Although I am extremely Anti Cena. He couldn’t wrestle to save his life. But Vince needs to keep selling shirts to the kiddies. I’m more of a Jericho, Malenko, technical style wrestling fan. Of course, being that I grew up on classic WWF, any time guys like Dibiase come out, I mark out (Cheer) like a little b***h. lol

Anyway, she’s a HUGE TC collector. I tried to get her to join the site. She sends me all kinds of stuff, a metal TC lunchbox, books and comics, a Pumyra with card! Anyway, she just got an American Hammerhand, and wondered if I wanted the Cosmo-Cat. I talked her into keeping it. I agree, though, if was someone I didn’t know or a non-collector, it would be mine. She’s gonna send a pic, I’ll post it when she does. Thanks for the input, guys!
How cool can that be, however if she is a collector then perhaps you can advise her to keep it. If it was not a collector then Id be all over it. Keep pushing her to join…there’s not many female TC collectors here so one more would be welcomed. Its always cool to have one more collector join the site to discuss our crazy hobby
Yes I agree. If she is a passionate Tcats collector like the rest of us, then she should know what she has. I think you did the right thing, and please post the pics if you get them as I would love to see it. I wonder what name they gave Hammerhand over in France?
Wrasslin, lol. Man I try to watch TNA, but for some reason I don’t last the full two hours. I seem to wonder off. It doesn’t hold my attention like WWE does. And yes, the new ECW is a joke. There will never be another ECW like what it was in the 90’s. Honestly I don’t keep up with the new ECW or Smackdown. Which is why I was pissed when they sent Edge over to Smackdown.
I think Kyle is cool all the way around and the figure would have nothing to do with it! I’d like to publically thank Kyle for being honest. You’re a good man and I am proud to call you friend!
Okay…here’s the case…
The carded figure has a stylized red and blue “A” in a white circle in the upper left hand corner but on the lower left hand corner is the LJN rainbow trademark.
CosmoCats is emblazoned above the bubble of the card with the “Berzerkers” logo with the viking type hat atop it beneath. Hammerhand in the lower right hand corner is in english but the description is wholly in French. It is the same art as the American card with Panthro and Hammerhand on the front/back. The back has on the lower left hand corner the whole Berzerkers line pictured but no names in white like with most of the American cards. except for a thin inch long paper tear on the “C” of the Cosmo and a small crease on the corners this card is in really good shape. It isn’t mint, but its not bad either.
Now…
Here’s the funny thing. This toy has to have never been opened, I mean you could tell it! But the toy despite being French, has what appears to be the generic fold out American catalogue nestled in the bottom of the bubble.
So I’m leaving it up to you guys…what is it? Canadian I was thinking… but I… thought that if it were Canadian English would have to be on the card to comply with the laws concerning bi-lingual test on objects.

While I am no expert as to how things were handled when creating the packaging for the Cosmocats line, it does appear that they were packaged with the English booklet.
In the below thread there is a pic of Cosmocats Star Lion (Lion-o), and you can see that it also has the English booklet. Also, I saw a Cosmocats Cheetara on eBay, that also had the English booklet. Seems to be the norm.

they arent worth 500 and I would say they are slightly more expensive than the standard fig but thats cause they are so hard to find
