This news completely shocked me when it first started leaking out - Michael Jackson, king of pop music, has died in LA, age 50! He suffered cardiac arrest, and according to what I’ve heard on CNN, was pronounced dead upon his arrival at hospital.
Even though I’ve never been a huge Michael Jackson fan, it feels unbelievable that such an iconic figure could have died, and my heart goes out to all his family, friends and fans on this horrible day!
Yeah it sucks, my childhood was Michael Jackson, Thundercats, G.I. Joe, and Transformers…so that’s a part of my childhood in the 80’s that passed. No matter what his legal troubles were, or what he did or didn’t do to kids, no one can take away his achievements in the music world.
