That’s the one I was referring to a few posts back, as being the least common! (from what I’ve seen anyway) I’d love to own that version!!
Just FYI, the lion’s head logo has nothing to do with Rainbow Toys or Toy Options. It is a UK toy, quality and safety mark given to all toys from the late 80’s to present day by the British Toy & Hobby Association. So pretty much every toy (regardless of which toy company released it) will have the lion mark on the packaging.
LOL i was starting to wonder if i was not fully grasping that “lion’s head” The thing is though, in this instance could it not be used to determine "early from “Late” ? there are rainbow series 2 without the “lions head” then there are the series 2 with the “lion’s head” then there are those that have just the “Lion’s head” which really just means the rainbow logo was pulled off in favor of??? thanks
My vote went for the MIB Other Brand (Toy Option), if this poll is indicative of the rarity of the swords does this mean there are only 10 people who own them at the forum right now!!!:eek:

Another Rainbow/ LJN Sword of Omens showed up for sale, the box is pretty rough, the seller has it listed as C7+, i tend to disagree. Also note that the sword is not attached to the box, it is kinda loosely set inside.

Here is another Rainbow/ LJN variation. Notice that the logos are separated on this example? the earlier example i posted they are right next to each other… this is also an early example as it is the “8 Back” version
Any pics of the Grand Toys version? Just curious if there was one. I hadn’t seen any loose ones at Toy shows so not sure.

Yes,.. Way ott… Its a loose sword at the end of the day.. Something that can be picked up for around -£100. Alot on ebay selling under £60GBP working loose good examples

This is NOT a MIB Sword of Omens, it is a loose Sword of Omens that happens to come with a box, which is in ratty shape. at best the box is worth 25-40 GBP and the sword is worth 40-65 GBP…No more. that is why this one keeps getting re-listed, the price is way high, this one was commented on in this thread on page 2 or 3.
Hmmm…I have a loose one…never been able to get it to work, as the contacts are a bit nasty.
Makes a neat piece sitting between my other role-play swords though!
