I am following Matthew Mercer aka the new Tygra on Twitter and asked him if he is going to be voicing any other characters and this is his response
"Can’t say specifically, but our cast members do get to wear many hats. Voice hats? Vats? "
So it seems like the original the actors will be playing multiple roles. I will keep u all posted with any more info he gives me, that is if u want me to.

That was expected, i remember from his demo and he could easily do more than one voices, Vultureman might be another one!!

I asked him who else he will be voicing, and stated alot of people here think he would make a good vultureman, he responded with this
“first day of recording, they implanted our necks with dime-sized micro-explosives. Best to keep some surprises! #nervouslaughter”
Guess WB have made them all very tight lipped bout this project, altho he is a fan of the original and like Larry Kenney stated he wouldnt do it if he didnt think it was good
Sounds good as long as there isn’t a similarity in voices. I also hope more original voice actors are used even in a smaller role or reprise other characters e.g. Lynne Lipton as Mandora

Interesting tho In the interview he mentions that the Actors could say they’re doing the show themselves, but they’re not allowed to reveal each other. It makes me wonder if Kevin Michael Richardson will get into any kinda trouble for revealing Will Friedle is Lion-O.

I doubt it there is a problem at this point. Remember, this interview was done in January 2011 before the trailer hit. I think things are starting to cook

I thing he sounds perfect for Tygra and much as he is a skilled voice actor i wouldn’t recommend him for Lion-o, so it’s good he didn’t make it in the audition for the cub’s role!!
Yes, his voice does have a deeper register, so Tygra is the perfect choice. On top of all of this, he is a genuinely nice guy too

As far as many hats, at ThunderCon, Mercer did mention that Lion-O voice actor Will Friedle was actually writing episodes of the new series.
Odd sense of humor he has.

Then it’s no wonder that most of the new episodes have been Lion-O centered
