I’m interested to see what figures people would have like to see produced back in the day. I thought of a little exercise that we can do to see everyones ideal line-up. You take the list of figures and have to sacrifice a figure to see the one you want produced. You can only swap a fig for a fig, a vehicle for a vehicle, or a playset for a playset. Try to keep the vehiles or playsets to a comparible size, so no switching the stilt runner for the Ratstar. I’ve gotten rid of figures with mutple releases to make the choices a bit harder, so Lion-O and Lion-O and mini Snarf just count as one release.

I can’t answer this as written because what i’d want is entire series like ThunderCubs and Snow Gear Thundercats, etc.

There must be at least one figure you would sacrifice for a favourite unproduced figure, no?

I know what you mean though. I’d love to have seen a Castle Plun-Darr set, but I wouldn’t sacrifice the Cats Lair or Tomb for it.

I wouldn’t sacrifice anything, since I like all the figures! But I will add figures/playsets/vehicles that I feel were a crime that we never got:

  1. Mandora
  2. Willa
  3. All Lunataks
  4. Thunderstrike

The biggest ones we missed out on were The Lunataks and The Thunderstrike. Would have been great to get those.

I would have also liked to get

  1. Mandora
  2. Willa
  3. Castle Plundarr playset
  4. Sky Tomb playset
  5. Claudis and Kano
  6. Mumm-Ra’s Tomb Fortress but with one change…THE CAULDRON. As a kid, I used a GI Joe cereal bowl filled with water as the cauldron, lol.
