We got our Christmas early here at Hollywood Heroes. One of my long time clients called and sent me over photos of this… the only working model of the Mad Bubbler.
To date, this is the third we have found. However, only the first to be a fully functioning model.
Those who know our company, can verify that our items are 100% legit and we guarantee their authenticity.
Jordan would be best to answer the auction question but my best guess is that maybe. I must say though that this one piece could easily fetch thousands of dollars.
I think with the uniqueness of this one piece that all bets are off when it comes to price. This is one of a few found in the last 25 years
This has been quite a few years in the making. When i first started collecting about 6 years ago i began correspondence with Hollywood Heroes concerning the Mad Bubbler and other prototype pieces. At the time i was kindly given some information on other Mad Bubblers that were sold, most likely through private sales but Hollywood Heroes was bound by confidentiality agreements and so the only option was for one of those people to come forward since they could not provide pictures due to this agreement.
All in all, I want to extend a huge Thank You to Jordan for giving us a first hand look at what is considered to be the Holy Grail of Thundercats toys. I must say that the news on a new series and new toys coming soon was a bit of great news but this in my opinion tops it all when it comes to toys. Today will be a day to remember by many of us who have been waiting so many years to see just a small glimpse of such a rarity
AT LAST! Thank you so much Jordan for posting the pic on the forum! I hope this piece does go up for auction and a huge fan picks it up Depending on the asking price I am definately interested in hearing when and how this will come up for sale
Well i still have my emails that i exchanged with Jordan dating back to 2004 or 2005. So at least that long, if not longer. At that time Jordan was unable to provide pics due to an agreement that was in place with the purchasers of the previous Bubblers
I knew the Bubbler had to be out there and it was just a matter of time before he peeked his head out.
hot dam. That is amazing never thought I’d actually see a legit one. This is truly an incredible find. I’m curious to see what other goodies Jordan has acquired. Wow Thanks Jordan
Welcome to the forums…it is indeed quite the find of the decade. I think a lot of people gave up on seeing one being that for 25 years nothing was seen but catalog pictures.
Whoever ends up owning it and if you read this please send lots of detailed pictures. Hell we’ll even make a dedicated page on the thing.
Quite the treat on Thundercats 25 year Anniversary and now I have heard that there is a lot more coming through
I need to get myself a sugar mummy/daddy I reckon… if I want to own this thing! and I’m not ashamed to admit I definately thought we’d never see it… I’d love to hear the story behind this coming to light (if the current owner is happy to give us the story on it, not sure if they want to remain anonymous?) Actually if they simply posted on this forum their story (no need to reveal their name) and then Jordan verifies the post that would be cool!

We plead for the owner to Please Stand Up and give us the backgroung story as well as more pictures, it would be very important for any fan and the ThundercatsLair site. This was an exclusive and unique find.

Well, right now.. I’m the owner. Or, the closest thing to it. Hollywood Heroes has the exclusive brokerage rights to this entire unique, and one of a kind collection.
All I can say people is that over the next six months, you will see items never before seen in Thundercats history. Some prototypes… long thought to be lost forever. Others.. models and concepts for figures that never made it into the catalogs. I have been in this business for 20 years… and this is truly one of the greatest collections I have ever seen.
It’s a great time to be a Thundercats collector… ( now go take out a second mortgage, because you’re going to want it all !)
What a jewel. I hate to ask Jordan as I recall your previous Thundercats auctions from a couple of years ago, but I don’t recall the time period for that auction.
Why six months? I mean why will it take 6 months to auction off everything you’re client owns?
Is it just that extensive of a collection?
