Ok everyone this is by far the greatest news in Thundercats toy history. Finally a picture of what looks to be a Mad Bubbler… .we are in the proccess of aquiring permission to post the images at this time.I have looked at it and it is very accurate to what the actual one wouldve looked like except the arms are very skinny and athere are no hands. They looked to be attached to some wire and the neck portion is very different from the picture seen on the back of the figure cards.Stay tuned for the latest
:yikes: That’s fantastic. Finally some hard evidence that this does exist in some shape and form. Great find Manny. How did the lair come in contact with these if I may ask, did a private collector send them in or a former LJN employee turn them in. Just curious basically as to how much other stuff like this could be out there in the hands of people. Can’t wait to see the pics.
Man, I cannot WAIT to see them! I’ve got my fingers crossed!
Ok everyone I’m sorry to disappoint you all but the picture I received was from someone that stole it from felllow member Andrew. I have just been informed by him that it was his work and was made in 2001. Im sorry everyone.Whoever toyboy2001 is stole the pics, Andrew is the rightful maker of this fantastic piece
I am fuming right now that someone put their name on my picture…I can give more details about this later…but I am having trouble containing myself.
more details will come later…I am just soooooo pissed at the moment…(and I don’t mean drunk for Neil and our other international friends)

This one though is about 95% complete with very minor areas broken. The tip on the left side of the head, around the mouth is broken. The hands look to be held by wire, the neck is longer and narrower and the hands well…there is none just a portion of were they are supposed to go.

The reason it appeared like this was this was my “work in progress” image. I was making comparisons to the original image to make my copy. The sculpey was soft war this point in time. Rather than being the case that the left side of the head tip broke off…I just hadn’t sculpted it yet…gggggrrrrrrrr…
Thank you Andrew, I hate people that steal pictures and make it their own. Regardless though, that sculpt is perfection…you could make tons with a limited run of them.
please mod to edit my language if anything I said was too out of hand…I tried to calm down and edit as I was typing
Youre good Andrew…no worries
Man that sucks Andrew. I would be furious if someone took my stuff like that. But your sculpt looks sweet. Manny is right you could make a bundle if you made a limited run of them, ( I know I would want one)
Andrew…(Enough for any projects you may have)
First of all let me sympathise with Andrew for having his image stolen and work claimed by someone else. That sucks.
I must admit though in a conversation with Manny my initial instinct was that there could be a talented sculptor out there who would replicate it. Turns out that was you Andrew. Great work..
Glad you could clear all that up ![]()
If you read the post that I made on Toy News International Forums: It states that a friend has it. Andrew along time ago sent me the picture. I only put the watermark on it so that you (Manny) could not use it yourself on your site. That is why I never told you that you can use it let alone I never told you that I was claiming it to be mine. But thanks very much for telling the world that I stole a picture from Andrew when he sent the picture to me of his own free wheel.
Thanks Again.
Also, on a side note. I would like to apologize to Andrew for the miscommunication that Manny and I must of had. I never was claming this to be mine, and i said it was a friends.
When you put your watermark on it you are claiming it as yours, it clearly shows you tried to cover up smething on the picture. Its a small world how we know certain people. Techincally yes you never mentioned it was yours but at least you shouldve mentioned it to loose any suspicions. It was indeed miscommunication but being that Andrew is my friend and the contributor to a lot of what you see on this site I felt obligated to inform him that someone had put their name all over it.Actually I didnt even know it was his until he saw the picture and notified me it was his work, his picture. It was just made to look it was yours thats all and thats what upset him and i. He would like the original pictures minus the watermarks on it. No grudges, I just want this done right.
I put the watermark on it so you could not use it. I did not know your were friends with the creator. I will send the originall picture i recieved from Andrew, and you will notice that there are no water marks on it at all. I am not tring to be mean or hold a grudge at all. I am just trying to clear things up between the two of us.

I had a sneaky feeling you might have been involved with this and was gonna contact you about it this evening! ![]()
Please tell me this is one of the customs in that box!
Nah just joking, I know you probably wouldn’t want to part with this something as cool as this. Are you gonna complete it and then try and give it a bubble making action feature Andrew?
I know at the Entertainer, they sell bubble making toys called Gazillion Bubbles or something which is all kinds of bubble making contraptions. Just wondering if any of those would fit inside that body shell?
If you could ever pull something like that off, it would be majorly cool.
Come to think of it, how did you manage to pull off that sculpt?? It is excellent and with some more work, could look exactly like the one in the LJN catalogue! :yikes:
Oh and just for language barrier sakes, in England:
Pissed = drunk, sozzled etc..
Pissed Off = mad, angry, annoyed etc…
Thank you for your understanding…I will forward the pics to Andrew.
Whatever discussion is going on here, I just wanna say that the sculpt looks amazing! I’d sure buy one if that would ever become the case. To think that this was sculpted with such likness from ONE picture is really impressive! God job man!

I am definitely up for getting these produced in a limited run, but there are many things that would need to be figured out for that to come together. If someone with experience or connections wants to discuss it, I am totally up for it, and I will complete a sculpt for the figure.
