This is just a random and probably somewhat pointless post, but I didn’t know who else to share with!
I know a couple of you guys have heard me speak of my light-up Sword of Omens from the LJN toyline, and how I couldn’t find it anywhere. Well, today my family and I have been clearing out our loft and, guess what? My Mum found it! Best of all, despite having been stored in the loft for ages, we had the good sense to store it without the battery inside and so the light-up feature still works!!
The blade needs a little bit of a polish, and the Eye of Thundera has some paint wear from childhood, but aside from that it’s as good as new! Like I say, it’s a small thing, but it’s little things that make me happy!
EDIT: Oh yeah, just to add that the box is long gone, but, my Sword does have the end cap!
LOL, I actually thought about it when I made that first post - hopefully if I can nab someone to snap a photo one will make it to this thread - you have been warned!!
Not pointless at all! Its good that it was all together with its bells and whistles! Its nice to find those little things that connect us to a more simple time in our lives when we were a little more innocent and the world was full of adventure.
I paid a small fortune for my Sword Of Omens but I have fond attatchments to it… I committed a series of bank robberies with it.
The Sword Of Omens isn’t near as particular about the commission of felonies as we have been lead to believe. :mischievous:
