Critique:
I like how you draw his hair. However he is too muscle-bound, shall we say. It looks like he shoved himself in this suit now he’s bursting at the seams and can’t get out. Plus, the sword is not that big compared to him. I do like the beginning definition in his face.
Yeh thats not bad..Celesta’s points are valid…but the figure is in proportion and as you said.. it is not finished. Be sure to post the completed pic 
Like Celesta, I agree about the hair and the facial structure. Both are rather nicely done thus far.
However, the physique bothers me.
This could be just personal taste, really - I’ve never really liked those super muscled/Dragonball Z body mass types because of the hyper built gives the illussion of the muscles being inflated - but the muscle structure you went with doesn’t appear to be all that accurate to an actual muscle mass - whether realistic or cartoonish.
The hips/groin area needs the most work, I think. He’s lacking a waist and a groin at the moment; I would suggest filling that area out somewhat.

He looks more like William Wallace than Lion-O in this pic. But good job.

This sketch is from 2006, I highly doubt it will ever get completed. It’s still great work.
