I’m hoping they bring in a lioness for him if nothing else.

I’m hoping the whole lioness thing ONLY if Pumyra doesn’t get redeemed.
Maybe it’s Pumyra.
They would probably set him up with a lioness so they could continue the purebred line.
Maybe he’ll just remain single. I’m not so sure about the Lioness part. Must be a hard date to look for during war times. 
I really don’t think he’ll still think about Pumyra. Lion-O/Myra ship is done. Pumyra maybe redeemed in the future but the fact is she would have killed Lion-O had Tygra not intervened.
I doubt he will remain Single. I only see two ways that he is going to get a Girlfriend/Queen. They either come across a lioness in the second season or same how save Pumyra from Mumm-Ra’s control.
Why would he want Pumyra after all this?
The only reason would be if she did NOTHING by her own control.
As Rizefall said, that would only work if Pumyra was totally under Mumm-Ra’s control i.e nothing more than a puppet. Her reactions during the betrayal didn’t seem so. And I doubt Lion-O would want to anything with someone romantically involved with Mumm-Ra. :eek: :mischievous:
Pumyra isn’t romantically involved with Mumm-Ra. And if you rewatch Mumm-Ra’s explanation he says she was revived with only her hatred/rage by the ASoE. And as for working with Mumm-Ra? Leo and Panthera both worked with him and were good.
Her kissing the gauntlet isn’t nessecarily a romantic gesture, but one of loyalty and subjugation. Think of it like kissing the ring of a king or a Pope, or even a mafia godfather. I think it’s far more likely she’s both Mumm-Ra’s puppet and he can directly control her actions when he wants but was also allowed a certain level of autonomy where we got to see glimpses of her true personality.

The writers simply wouldn’t allow Lion-O to have a love interest. 
What if it’s that simple that it’s only the evil part of Pumyra that’s left? ASoE and Mumm-Ra only “saved” the evil part and let the other one drift into oblivion?
In that case, mindcontrol to control this evil or that they did not even need it / made a deal with this “devil” there is nothing the Thundercats can do to save her.

Yet again as i’ve said several times i dont think he should have one at the moment of the war. He has other and better things to worry about. Getting the stone, uniting everyone and stop mumm-ra at all costs.
Having a love interest / queen would make it easy for Mumm-Ra to use that to his advantage. Kidnap her and be like “Give me your stones if you want her to live”.
If he then would say YES, then what was the point of the relationship to start with? Right now, it’s not good for him at all to start anything. It’s to easy for the evil guys in this show to take advantage of that situation.
In the OS, Lion-O never really had any love interests, cos within that grownup body was a tiny ickle tween. Now in the NS, he can’t have one because that’s not what the prophecy of his life includes and he’s just not ready for canoodling yet.
