A liger, for those not aware, is the result of a male lion and female tiger breeding. Ligers weigh around 900 pounds (the largest known liger weighed 1756 lbs) and can be around 10 feet or more in length, and are a foot & a half or more taller than lions or tigers. Essentially, they are twice the size of a normal tiger or lion.
And there’s a tigron, the offspring of a male tiger and a female lion. At least I think it’s called a tigron.:?
I agree. A liger could be a Thunderian malcontent who wants Lion-O’s crown, a new ThunderCat himself (or herself), or a Thunderian who walks the line between goodness and badness.

I did’nt either. I thought that Napoleon Dynamite made up this animal, but one day I did some research and found it to be real, truly amazing…it is now my favorite animal as well ^___^
Other interesting stuff, if they ever decide to make a live-action movie of the Thundercats, there’s a guy that can play this new character, Tigron-O. He’s big and he’s ugly and he doesn’t need any computer graphics or make-up!
Yeah, this guy was featured in a documentary here in the UK about Obsessive Compulsive Disorder - he’s basically obsessed with the concept of becoming a cat, hence all the crazy stuff he’s had done to his body!

Sounds like a plan to me - I have no idea if any sort of prize could be found to give away, but FWIW I think this sounds like a great idea! Maybe someone should suggest this to my colleagues who moderate the art-based boards of these forums, could lead to some lovely pics!
I watched a tv program about ligers a few weeks ago and it said scientists still dont know what makes it so large in size. They also said it probaly wouldnt survive in the wild because its too big to run at the speed of normal tigers and lions therefore would not often catch pray.
