To be fair what was actually asked is “The jewel Mumm-Ra stole, that has to be Mon*Star’s right?”
The Jewel being the Eye of Thundera.
They never specified anything about the other stones.
You ever hear of misinformation or misdirection? 
Just because the stones were not stolen from Mon*Star does not mean he did not acquire one as some stage.
Yes, the answer could easily be interpreted a number of ways - either they are saying it was never in Mon-Star’s possesion (before Tygus stole it) or they are saying it wasn’t Mon-Star’s as in it wasn’t his originally. I think it’s still a theory that could be in play until we hear otherwise.
If the red planet with the squid people didn’t belong to Mon-Star, then it sure was a hell of a coincidence that he just happened to appear on the screen when all the other screens were explicitly showing the invasion of said red planet.

with the 2nd one, yes, but there is very very heavy Hordak influences between the first and last pic. I would have never thought about it but i totally agree, some homage there.
I really don’t think they first did look at those two and said “let’s make Mumm-Ra resamble them for the fans”

The Stone’s Powersuit capabilities does leave the door open for Mon*Star to be included though. Its another avenue to explore if nothing else.
Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if they introduced Mon*Star as Mumm-Ra’s brother or something.
I also couldn’t help but notice that there were no Rat people enslaved by Mumm-Ra. I hope that doesn’t mean we aren’t going to get Ratar-O. One of my major wishes in this show is that they utilize Ratar-O to his fullest potential, something that the old show didn’t do.
I must be the only one who likes the Leo armored-up suit and want to see more like it. lol

I do agree with the opinion that Lion-O should have been an observer rather than possesing Leo’s body. It turned a flashback episode into a time travel story. Is there a divergent timeline where Leo did it on his own before Lion-O was born and went back in time? Time travel stuff is hit or miss with me.

And I think what Lion-O was living was a record of what already happen. Nothing he chould do chould change the past, cause he wasn’t really in the past he was just living the events of things long past.
Not complaining, citing in the hopes that someone is listening and will do better.

Mumm-ras brother, I like that idea. And I thought the same thing about no rat people. Tatar-O was defenetly an underused and potentially major villain in the os. Hoping he makes a return in the ns.
So the battle on the painting in episode 1 never happened?
If they lock Mumra up in his coffin, why did we see see the painting/ mural during the beginning of episode 1 showing an epic battle (not Leo) defeating Mummra?

No, but I’m sure somebody does. I do know what you’re taking about. It could be that the story of Mumm-ras defeat was passed down from generation to generation and had become warped and twisted to a point the artist that created the mural used his own imagination and artistic license to create his own view of the battle.
Well, if the true story of how Mumm-Ra was defeated was told and passed down… then there wouldn’t have been the ignorance to technology as there was by the time Claudus (and however many generations before him) was around.
Everyone would have been fully aware of technology had they told the true story of the defeat of Mumm-Ra.
For all we know, all the survivors of the pyramid/space ship crash decided it was best to leave technology behind because technology was evil because of Mumm-Ra, etc.
Too bad. Because the mural looks more epic.
But I think we can conclude that the mural never happened and it is story telling through history.

Maybe the artist was told not to include tech in the mural. Or he didn’t even know about tech when he created it. Who knows which generation the mural was made in.

I just went back and Watched the beginning of the Premiere Episode again and I think the confusion here is that the tablet we saw was not a historical record but a prophecy. So it has nothing to do with Leo and Mumm-Ra’s Battle but of the Future Battle between Lion-O and Mumm-Ra.
