I still prefer toys and this is well beyond my price point but it does look pretty impressive.
Regardless of how it looks price wise and the chances and time scale of the main cast getting made make me doubtful that it will be a successful project for them.
Looks stunning. I hope they get to make other characters. Still, regardless of whether this line continues, I will be happy with just this single diorama. Looking forward to the painted version.

The diorama looks very gorgeous. The only thing missing is Mumm-Ra’s cape. 
Agreed. I’m not really into statues (mainly coz I don’t have the cash or the space!;)), but compared to all the TCats statues have been released in the past couple of years, I gotta say this one is the best of the lot. I like the dynamic action pose and the sculpting is pretty damn good, both on the figures and the crumbling environment. Only thing I would nitpick is Lion-O’s face. I would have liked if it was a bit more cartoon accurate (a little bit wider with more cartoon-accurate eyes).

Here’s a better video too. There’s a TON of detail on this thing.
I’m not a big fan of this. Lot’s of little things that I personally would change. Lack of fur on Mumm-Ra’s feet, the shape of his toes, the bandages coming out of a central hole in the back of his head. Lion-O’s face and hair don’t do it for me either. Then there is the base. Is that supposed to Mumm-Ra’s couldron? If it is it’s too small. What are the big rock things jutting from the sides?
It’s a very well done piece, just not great enough that I could imagine paying whatever high price it will be sold at, and devoting that much space to.

I gotta be honest - I love this diorama! I think once it’s painted, it’ll alleviate some of the concerns mentioned above (i.e. it’ll accentuate Lion-o’s face). I’m sure we can all find a few small things to nitpick about, but there’s no way to please all the people all the time. The only problem I have with this is finding a place to put it! Amazing work!
Why is mumm-ra wearing a spartan helmet?
I think they based him more on the reboot design.

This looks pretty amazing.
It looks nice but $999 is far too expensive.
I really have to wonder why they thought making this sculpture and trying to sell it at that price was a good idea.
The previous Thundercats statues didn’t sell very well and they were only fractions of what they want for this statue.
Ok.. that’s a bit too much
