Probably. The entire African-American voice-acting world seems to be split up between him and Phil LaMarr; I was fully expecting one of them to be cast as Panthro. Richardson is the better choice for Panthro IMO, given his deeper and more gravelly voice, but Iām a big fan of both of them. (Wouldnāt be surprised if LaMarr showed up somewhere too; Andrea Romano is the voice director and heās on her speed dial. I should add that she really is the best in the business.)
Friedle is perfect casting; the Terry McGinnis Batman shares a lot in common with Lion-O as a headstrong young man whoās suffered a tragedy and found himself with some very big shoes to fill.
I canāt place Chriqui (havenāt watched Entourage; sheās got a couple miscellaneous credits on shows I watch but theyāre for unnamed roles ā apparently she was on Are You Afraid of the Dark in '96 so I probably saw her in that) but per Balgusās link she sounds like a good fit. And again, I trust Romano implicitly.
I gotta say, I think Kevin is a good choice for an updated Panthro, he has a lot of similar qualities in his voice as the immortal Earle Hyman. Deep and a bit gravely, I think he will really help bring the new Panthro to life!
Will Friedleā¦ First off, I do LOVE him. (Only being a little stalkerish, lol) I think his talent is great, and I did love him on Batman Beyond, and I have heard him do many other things. But I wonder how well his voice will mesh with what we have seen from the trailer. I am not opposed to this choice, I just want to see what he does with it. I have difficulty hearing him awaken the Sword of Omens, or call for Sight Beyond Sight. But I will wait and see!

The problem with Kevin is that he sounds the EXACT same way he always does in EVERYTHING he voices, because itās not an acting role.. itās just his natural speaking voice.
So we have Batman (Beyond that is) & The Joker playing Thundercats? Cool cool.
Willās voice is very good. I was a big fan of Batman Beyond & I loved what he brought to the tables as Terry McGuiness. With that role, he did a good job of playing an older teen/near adult character & hopefully he can capture that again with the young Lord. I think they found themselves a good Lion-O.
Keithās voice is very distinctive and in a way thatās good. But this guy kind of gets typed casted. If there is a big black guy in a cartoon show, 10 to 1 chance its him and they all sound the same. And I donāt know. Hymanās voice for Panthro back in the day was just perfect. The sound of his voice just commanded attention. Will that work here? I donāt know.
I disagree. For example the Joker sounds absolutely nothing like Bulkhead.
So far we have
Panthro, Tygra, Lion-O, and Cheetara casted. SO there is the āmain castā. Hope we get some info on the Grune and Claudius soon.

Iām more interested in Jagaās voice than Gruneās. Jaga needs to be regal. I never really cared for Gruneās original voice.
Huh weird, I really liked his original voice, it had that odd āmouth half fullā quality to it which made sense cos of the sabertooth! 
Grune needs to have a deep husky voice. Heās a big guy, so his voice has to be deep, but heās also a bad guy so it has to be ruff.

You know at first I wasnāt sure about Will Friedle voicing Lion-O (tho I am a big fan of his), But after watching Exodus again this afternoon, his voice isnāt all that different from young Lion-O before he aged.
I am very happy with the New cast as well, Will Friedle is still a mystery if he will manage to pull through such a demanding task but i have high hopesā¦
