Just to let the rest of the team know that we had an AMAZING podcast recording session, absolutely excellent! :thumbsup: Nick, your hosting skills are absolutely fantastic, and MannyF, your contributions were excellent - it was a real joy to be back doing it! :slight_smile:

My only concern is how the hell Nick is going to edit the well over 2 hours’ worth of material into something concise enough to sustain listeners’ interest! :smiley: I’m sure he’ll find a way though, probably better to have too much material than not enough, right? :slight_smile:

Again, guys, well done and thanks so much for letting me be a part of this - really excited about everything to do with this site, I think the best days of this site’s life are still in front of us! :thumbsup:

I’ve finished editing the podcast - I did want to slightly trim it but I think it’s listenable as it is and has lots of material. I’m going to be extremely busy over the next two weeks so if it doesn’t get released now, I probably won’t ever get round to releasing it.

I’ve got it here as an MP3 file - what to do next?

Is there a way you can upload it somewhere Nick? I’m not sure if you have a FTP client or know how to use it, but if you can upload it somehow, we can get Kyle to update the RSS feed for iTunes.

Just to say firstly, well done Nick for all your hard work with this - I haven’t listened to the podcast yet but am sure you’ve done a characteristically awesome job! :slight_smile:

Normally I’d offer to get the episode up myself (although I’ve no control over the RSS feed for iTunes, etc.), but as I’ve got a crazy few days ahead of me, please could one of the other members of the team with access to the front end of the site, such as MannyF, deal with the particulars of getting this episode added? :slight_smile: If one of you guys could help me out with this, that would be awesome - many thanks! :slight_smile:

I’ve already uploaded to the podcast directory, but the podcast pages were created by Kyle, so I’m not very familiar with how those pages work (updating wise). I’ll PM Kyle ASAP to get the RSS feed up and have the podcast page updated.

If it’s been uploaded to the podcast directory, place it on the website. Circulate it.. when it goes on iTunes, we can sort that out later. But right now.. with the boom in TCLair, we really do need some fresh audio. :slight_smile:
