Hey guys, apologies for the double-post, but I just wanted to LYK that an interview I conducted last year with comics artist Andrew Wildman is now online and ready to go live! Andrew got his big break working on ThunderCats for Marvel UK, and from there has gone on to become an acclaimed artist working on titles such as Spider-Man!
At the moment Andrew is currently working on a bunch of comic projects to tie in with the new Transformers movie, so at the moment his name is again “hot” in the industry!
Really, really liking the flash animatic added to the front page, although sad that Kyle’s Lion-O illustration above the welcome message has had to go to make room for it - nonetheless, the animatic is great for letting folks know about what are currently the biggest strengths of the site, so, big thumbs-up from me for that!
One thing I just wanted to mention, however, is that now our front page flashes up a message for me saying that “This site might require the following ActiveX control: ‘Adobe Flash Player’ from ‘Adobe Systems Incorporated’. Click here to install…” Is this present for anyone else, and is this a problem…? :?
Holy thread revival, Batman! I hope nobody minds me bumping this thread back up, but I just wanted to give you guys a heads-up that I have now created a new index page for the Original Comic Art Gallery’s Misc section, which for the moment I have uploaded as “index2”:
Now, I know we were talking about doing one big site update - but, I was wondering whether anybody here would object to me posting an update on the front page of the site to let people know about the newest additions to the Comic Section? The reason why I say this is because, if I’m being honest, I feel the site is in rather urgent need of an update, and, given that this material is all completed, this would be good stuff to keep interest and activity ticking over!
So, just to give you guys a rundown, the new stuff prepared and ready to be added to the Comic Section is:

Thanks Manny! I think I’m going to let Mark’s cereal:geek update and the Larry interview news sit on the front page for a few days before updating (I hadn’t been expecting the Larry podcast to go up this soon!), but will definitely post a Comic Section update within the next week or so!
