Dear Friends 
I just wanted to share the wonderful news that Jon Peter Lewis will be releasing his debut CD Stories From Hollywood on November 7 2006 (which just happens to be Jon’s birthday). As reported by Judy, Jon’s manager, Jon has been hard at work on his debut CD and has chosen the awe-inspiring and more challenging, yet ultimately rewarding, path of writing his own music and honing his guitar skills, rather than just accepting any producer’s offers at a quickie album. Like all of my favourite musicians, Jon has talent and integrity, and I hope you will all check out his wonderful music upon its release.

I wanted you guys to be the first to know that I just finished recording my album and we will be announcing a release date very soon! It’s been a long time coming and I really thank you for your patience and all of the work you guys have done for me. We will be posting the details soon.
My new single, “If I Go Away/Man Like Me,” should be up on iTunes and other places in a couple of weeks. We’ll let you know as soon as it’s available.
I’ve also got some really exciting shows coming up. I’ll be playing with my band at the Viper Room in Los Angeles on October 18th. Come on out to Hollywood, it’s going to be good! I’ll also be playing in Idaho at Club Strata on October 13th. And we’ll have some more dates to post in the next few days. Also, thanks to everybody who came out for our live recording of “Rodeo” last month. It turned out really, really well.
It’s been a busy time for me, but it’s also been exciting and I couldn’t have done any of this without all of you. Hope to see you at one of the shows! Thanks for everything.
