Jaga Helmet ID ?

I got this Helmet mixed in with Thundercats weapons in a Trade on Facebook.

does this helmet go to some kind of foreign Jaga figure? Or is it a custom? Im lost, & have no clue on it.. I know I need a helmet, & this will due, until I can get a normal one.

That’s an interesting piece you have there. :slight_smile: Is it made up of grey plastic with the yellow painted on or vice versa? If I’m not mistaken, then the LJN Jaga’s helmet was made up of yellow plastic and I think even the Playful version was also made up of yellow plastic.

It is the grey part which has me stumped. If the helmet is made up of grey plastic then it is most likely a reproduction of the original helmet (and a very good repro too!). If the helmet is made up of yellow plastic then I wonder why anyone would paint parts of it grey as there was no grey in the original LJN helmet.

Hmmm. Then it’s most likely a reproduction of the original LJN helmet. I’ve come across a few reproductions of hard-to-find Thundercats weapons such as Bengali’s hammer. Generally the process involves casting a mold of the original weapon and then pouring in plastic or resin solution into the mold.

But if you could paint it like the LJN helmet then it would look as good as new!:thumbsup:

That helmet is definitely a custom.

As others have said it is more than likely a custom. If it weren’t for being painted yellow I would say they were going for Jaga in his spirit form as the grey would go well as a base to work from.
