Yep..avatar , tmnt , the jackie chan adventures , generator rex … man I really did love these shows but their games are just… meh
IGN.com isn’t just about videogames anymore they pretty much cover everything.
They aren’t putting it on another network. Thundercats is a Time Warner/WB property. They aren’t going to give the property to Viacom to show on Spike TV. The only way it would show up elsewhere is if the other channels bought syndication rights to air it.
It is looking pretty grim, but its been looking that way for several months.

Well IGN did cover many episodes, doing reviews and putting up good scores, also IGN is not a gaming website. It’s about games, tv-series and movies so WHY would they only write about Thundercats cause of a little NDS game?
Simple answer is, they did not. They wrote about it cause they write news about most stuff going on when it comes to Games, TV and Movies.

I know the whole trolling thing with you, blah blah bah, but if you had to come up with a hypothetical path for the NS to continue, what would be needed and how could it get done? Realistically given the current reality of the situation, and please just don’t tell me it’s impossible, that would be let down. You’ve stated some knowledge and experience in the whole matter, so let’s see whats possible.

When you consider the fact that the OS was on the original Toonami, it makes a lot of sense.

It’s a sad truth that many license based games have very little idea how to make the game worth playing.
Classic games (N64 and before) > Modern games
Often times tie-in games are bad if only because the companies spend a lot of money to license the property and then try to “kidify” the title or since many of them have very little development time are so rushed that they are small minimal effort projects. The reason for the rush is often because licensers don’t want the details out of the box so they just rush everything last minute.
An example is when a game based on a show only covers the first arc. Happens all the time. Only when a company develops a game based on a property not for a tie-in, does the project do well. An example is the "Batman:Arkham " series. Arkham City and Assylum have no tie in to a movie or cartoon but rather were developed by the licenser to be a “pure” game first and foremost.
That being said, TCats to the new Toonami makes sense considering they already have the rights to air it and don;t have to pay what they would to acquire a new anime series especially after most North American anime companies are gone. It gives CN variety/supply
I think the new Toonami is going for a darker tone than ThunderCats currently is. If they move it there I think they’d have to change a bit. The new Toonami isn’t doing “kiddie” shows.

The hypothetical path for the new show continuing was the toy line selling and being a hit which it wasn’t. The show was supposed to move merchandise and new toys which it didn’t. No one wanted to buy Bandai USA’s ****ty toys. So the only way the show continues is if WB orders more episodes which they haven’t. Frankly the only thing that saves the show at this point is a miracle.
What say we start a petition for Toonami to buy TC from CN or something? I dunno, I’ve never heard of Toonami before, but it sounds like a great channel.
Ye the new ones, many of the old games were and are still awesome

You are right, but we still dont know the actual problem until CN, WB or anyone has given us a statement on what is gonna happen with the show. We can speculate all we want but it’s not gonna make it better/worse/true.
NS been completely removed from the lineup, nothing for the foreseeable future. Some decision must have been made regarding the shows future for it to be removed from the schedule so hastily. Probably not a good one.

I heard that CN once again removed “ThunderCats” for their lineup. That’s just terrible. 
Yep. They did at the last minute to. They replaced the Thundercats reruns with Ninjago reruns.:lionomad:
