I don’t know if it was just me but, comparing to the other 5 episodes, the last one (Journey to the Tower of Omens) appeared to have a poorer work in the animation art process, i.e., poorer art lines with less details in the bodies and expressions of the characters! The movements seemed to be very generical. Please let me know what you think, fellas!
I had fun watching the “Ramlak Rising” episode. I have one problem with it – the Sword of Omens’ dagger mode. It was just fine in the series premiere, but in “Ramlak Rising” it’s drawn differently. There were inconsistencies with Cheetara’s hair in the original “ThunderCats.” Could it be just coincidence that inconsistency is common on the new show?
Crew - Yes and no. Since it’s an early episode, the animators and designers do need to get acclimated to the show.
TCATS has a few hundred shots in every episode, you’re bound to fine small inconsistencies in details and design. We try to catch these as much as we can.
The way you typed it was like it was SO MUCH WORSE CAUSR THE QUALITY WAS WEAKER.
Read what you typed out loud to yourself. IF you would have mentioned that you saw the “eye of thundera” look wierd in one part i would not say anything, now you ask if the program = The show is loosing quality.
You mentioned some stuff ofc but as a whole you did think the show lost quality. I can say i’ve seen lots of “wierd stuff” in this show, but only after i’ve seen the episodes like 5-7 times. That is also true to EVERY SHOW. Somethings are wierd but the show is NOT losing quality at all.
I doubt it. Studio 4C is a great studio, and their level of quality in terms of animation has been consistent throughout (and it’ll probably get even better, considering the recent news I heard that Japan is devaluing the Yen, making production costs for CN markedly cheaper).
Ditto for the story and writing, as each episode seems to be getting progressivley more mindblowing!
