Hello Everyone. Thanks for letting me be a part of the site. I have a been a huge thundercats fan since I first saw the show in 1997 on cartoon network’s toonami. I am a 90s kid who grew up liking tmnt, the real ghostbusters, mmpr, batman, and the star wars re vamp. I missed the original thundercats run with being born in 87. In 97, star wars pretty much ruled my life before thundercats came along. I can still remember watching the opening theme for the first time. Needless to say that I was hooked after that. I couldn’t wait to get home after school to watch it. I can still remember going outside after watching the show and using a stick as the sword of the omens as I battled the evil mutants using my imagination. I also still remember the huge disappointment of being such a huge fan of the show and not having any toys available to play with. I knew that show was older but I still didn’t understand why there weren’t any toys in the stores at the time. My grandparents were avid flea markets and yard sale goers. In the summertime and on the weekends, I would go with them. I still remember the day that I found my first thundercats figures at a yard sale. At that point, I didn’t even know that they had toys for thundercats so you could imagine my excitement when I found lion-o, tygra, panthro, snarf, the twins, and lynx o in box of old toys. I have been collecting ever since. I know that was a long intro but I love talking about the thundercats. Thanks again for the add.
