Just thought you guys would like to know that the interview I conducted recently with UK ThunderCats comic artist Tim Perkins is assembled and uploaded to the staff directory - apart from a couple of minor typos that I spotted, and a little formatting, I haven’t aletered any of his text.
I thought you guys might enjoy reading this - in total there’s just over 7 pages’ worth of reading here! He really is an ultra-cool guy.
Really interesting read and great content for the site. I don’t know how you guys get all this stuff but its amazing to be still connected to all of these great people.
Just bumping this thread to say that today (after some messing about with my e-mail - see my other thread! ;)), I received several pages of artwork from Tim Perkins, the UK comic artist, for hosting on this site. The stuff he provided us with is simply [SIZE=7]AMAZING! [/SIZE][SIZE=2] [/SIZE]
Part of the reason I’m so stoked is because one of the pieces he provided was an uncoloured cover for the UK ThunderCats #12. This was the first TCats comic I ever owned, it was given to me by my cousins who, back in 1987, were major ThunderFans and instrumental in getting me into ThunderCats. The cover for this comic was penciled by Martin Griffiths and inked by Tim, and seeing it in its unfinished form caused me to exclaim so loudly that my Mum rushed in to make sure I was all right!
Great stuff Chris.. some nice work here. I wish I was more familiar with the comics, this would mean a lot more to me. I like the Inked ones in the middle of the list.. As I am sure you have done, thank Tim on behalf of all of us here at TCL

With all this great stuff, we surely are the definitive site when it comes to Thundercats within the UK.
Oh and talking of UK stuff, I’ve meaning to mention that a SSSlithe figure made an appearance on the Paul O’Grady show a couple of months back! A viewer sent the figure in to him as she found it in a box of her boyfriends stuff and had no clue who it was. She thought Paul might like him. I have the footage recorded on a DVD disc (used my DVD recorder) Hopefully I should be able to get it online, but the file may need converting.
Not everybody was on skype when we discussed this, but as a thank-you to Tim for going to the trouble of finding this original artwork, scanning it and emailing it to us.. I decided I would colour one of his un-published pieces as gift. It is quite difficult to colour pencil drawings due to undifined edges, so I decided to choose the best two cells and colour those. Featured below is what I did. I will append a Thank-you message before sending it to him.. I need to talk to Chris about it.. but anyway here it is
