If You Could Re-Write An Episode Of Thundercats Which Would It Be?

who knows? if he were four times more evil I think he would have returned to the pyramid laughed his butt off and then kicked ma-mutt before going to bed. He didn’t do that. I don’t think whoever wrote that episode thought this thing through. and WHY is the episode called “the heritage”? because mumm-ra used to own the sphere? A heritage is usually something you leave behind for your family in the future. Does this mean mumm-ra somehow inherited that silly thing?

Some of ThunderCats’ episodes were mistitled, like “The Heritage.”

Either that or somebody thought they were being brilliant to which I respond with:

I’d re-write “Jackalman’s Rebellion”, and add in an uneasy alliance between the remaining Mutants and the Thundercats, which lasted just as long as it suited Slithe.

you got a different idea than I had… lol I was thinking jackalman would get with the cats for the episode.

Interesting. My idea for that episode was to make Jackalman a real menace to Third Earth.

Precisely, hence the need for the Thundercats and Mutants to team up to stop him. Much as I did with my Visionaries story where Darkstorm got overthrown as leader of the Darkling Lords . . .

But then Jackalman’s allies weren’t that threatening. OK, Driller maybe, but Mole Master? Really? He’d have had more success with a Crabman LOL.

Speaking of, which allies would you have chosen for Jackalman, besides the two he got? Let’s imagine he formed a great team: Jackalman, Driller, Mole Master. I think he could have somehow contacted Plutar and Tartara (although she might have considered him a pitiful creature LOL, but you should never underestimate the rage of a hurt woman LOL).

Just those two, given that we’ve placed “Jackalman’s Rebellion” in #37 in our continuity order, and those episodes (“Madora: Evil Chaser” and “Crustal Queen”) come before that one. Other villains that could be used showed up in later episodes, so they would have had nothing against the TCs.

Also, maybe Inflamer, who appeared as a villain in a later episode (can’t rememebr which though).

I honestly don’t know which two villains I’d pick for Jackalman to work with. LOL.

I’d also rewrite “Safari Joe” just to remove the not-able-to swim thing (I think many people here would) and change Tygra’s weakness to his vulnerability to external stimuli, like was shown in “Garden of Delights”, “Turmagar the Tuska” and “Crystal Canyon”. Maybe SJ could have hypnotized him somehow?

Your idea of “Safari Joe” is sheer genius! Tygra was shown to swim naturally in “The Fireballs of Plun-Darr.”

I want to rewrite “Chain of Loyalty” I did mention elsewhere what I would do to change it but it involved mumm-ra creating the chain which made everyone hate each other and breaking it would be the only way to make things normal.

I think everyone would like to re-write “Chain of Loyalty” LOL

Well how in the world could a chain made 100000000000000000000s of years before the current story have pictures of the characters from the current story? XD

That’s exactly what I have always wondered.

I suppose it’s meant to represent their ancestors, or the clans in general, or something like that, but the fact that the likenesses are so exact to the current members does look a little suspect!

Isn’t there another similar situation with a picture of Jaga on the Thunderscope?

That episode was equally as awful. Let’s not talk about that episode because there was just way too much stupid going on in it.

Here’s a ThunderCats episode I’d rewrite – “Return to Thundera” from season one. The time capsule that contained Thundera’s history just transported Lion-O back to the time before Thundera was destroyed. I’d rewrite the episode so that the capsule’s time-travel ability would be the Eye of Thundera’s doing, because it knows how much Lion-O misses Thundera.

I’d also re-write “Spaceship beneath the Sands”, just to give Cheetara and Tygra a chance to take revenge on the Mutants for capturing them on that sticky net.
