Well of course! Cartoons these days are dumming down are children’s perspective and creativity.

Most '80s and '90s cartoons were animated in Japan.
Worst I ever experienced in terms of unresolved was the remake of Bionic Woman. Not a cartoon but I feel it worth mentionning. It was cancelled during its run after 7 or 8 episodes, which I was following - it was nothing too great but entertaining enough. And then just canned, while all that had happened yet, was that they introduced new characters and plot lines every episodes. Literally that was all that had happened so far, and show was over. Shivers.
It’s a sad consequence of reevaluating very periodically, “we might continue, or not”. For many things I don’t really care though, never watched she-ra but I did watch he-man (so many action figures of it too) and it’s more of an eternal struggle of good vs evil than anything. Luffy has to find One Piece though. Even if it takes 10 more years.
And the series is only half way over!
If you are talking about One Piece which I assume, I read the manga from this and that is more than halfway, I think Oda planned something like 5-6 more years.

Thanks for the support. I am already reading about how to write a script for television and all the technical stuff involved in that.
I actually have a lot of ideas that could easily fill 26 episodes, including ideas to utilize The Warrior Maidens, The Berserkers, Safari Joe, The Lunatacs, The Silverhawks, a string of episodes where the T-Cats are split up for an extended time off doing different missions, a Three Part Series Finale, and even an entirely Snarf centric episode.
I still wonder besides the toys why people think it would be canceled. It takes them about 6-8 months to make an episode right? Which means that even if they were renewed we would not get anything this year anyway, then also put in mind that many of the ones who worked on Thundercats also work on other projects as well.

Because we have people who actually work on the show saying it could be. The decision hasn’t been made one way or the other yet, and that in itself is cause for apprehension.
If they want the show to be on the schedule for the Spring season (March 2013) a decision will have to be made by September. If there is no news by then, there’s a slim hope that it could be pushed for the summer season, which would work well if they wanted to do another split of 26 for a 13 episode season. Either way, and I don’t take any joy in saying this, if there is nothing said before September, it’s probably done.
If this show is cancelled then the people in charge is really dumb. I have a lot of problems with this show but every single one of those problems can be addressed, the show is not impossible to improve.
I know about the crisis but something that Batman TAS did right was having different studios around the world to make the animation, specially different studios from Japan, and that was in the 90’s.
IMHO Thundercats is too much for Studio 4C because they are pretty small, having different studios working on one or two episodes at the same time not only will make the process faster but each episode will look a lot better. They should focus in few episodes to deliver the highest quality possible.
If I was in charge of this show my list of studios will be this one:
Bones: I’m still amazed by Soul Eater, Xam’d and FMA:B, the quality is so high in those shows, some episodes of Heroman are really amazing looking as well.
Kyoani: High Quality stuff in terms of animation and storyboard, really good framing and composition. Really good at character acting. I still can’t believe how good these girls and guys really are.
TMS: They did the best episodes of Batman TAS and the whole Cyber Six show. They stilll have amazing animators there.
IG productions: They did Ghost In the Shell SAC and 2nd GIG, Seirei No Moribito and Eden of The East, good use of CGI and good animation.
P.A. Works, really amazing work in the last couple of years, Canaan, Angel Beast, Hanasaku Iroha.
Studio 4C, yeah I don’t hate them.
It would work out more for “ThunderCats” if other Japanese studios were involved in it.
You can write one where he used to be the Queen’s little pet before she died and it was her last request that he be handed down to look after and be an inherited pet to Lion-O.
Why? It just takes more time to make each episode.

I think it’s beautifully done 
The problem with the show is the writing. Too much filler and not enough meat of the bigger story. The Mutants and Mumm-Ra were way too underused. The writing simply wasn’t cohesive at all!
How can they sell toys, when kids know nothing about those characters?
For me there was far too many villian of the week episodes that only developed Lion-O. I just feel each writer had way too much freedom to just write their own thing and the season wasn’t thought out enough. All the things I hated about the series were down to the writers and producers (technology being forgotten by the ThunderCats, Snarf not speaking, Tygra being Lion-O’s brother and most of all Pumyra being evil!)
A shame as the re-design and animation were excellent.
I know we have the Dvds but I like to see reruns.
So you are would like snarf to speak, Thundercats to know about tech like many others, dont having Tygra and Lion-O as brothers etc?

Haha, why? Just watch the DVDs.
Not to mention the OS had hundreds of inconsistencies compared to maybe 1 or 2 in the NS
But still they should show it Saturday. If the show is gone then this fall Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on Nickelodeon.
