On the way to dropping her off at work, my fiancee and I were kicking around an idea for a TCats fighting game using M.U.G.E.N. In case you don’t know what it is, M.U.G.E.N. is a program that lets you make fighting games featuring any character you can think of. I’ve seen some videos on Youtube, and it got me to thinking, would there be any interest in seeing an actual Thundercats fighting game?
I kept thinking of Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and wondered if it would be even cooler if it could be made a crossover title. Seeing as how Warners owns both TCats and DC Comics, I thought that would seem to be the best fit (yes, yes, I know we had Mortal Kombat Vs. the DC Universe. Let’s just forget that right now).
We were thinking of downloading M.U.G.E.N. and setting it up. We know there are already at least several TCats and DC characters that have been made already for it. But I don’t think anyone’s done some of the characters in the roster we proposed. Here’s what we’ve got so far:
Thundercats:
