Thundercats will be playing instruments in a rock band lol wtf, i seriously doubt it’s real especially since it says Snarf is the leader huh?! anyways it’s weird but funny.
As far as I know it´s not going to happen. Just the thought of it…:eek: Yet the wierd thing also is, the same idea was considered for She-Ra, Princes of Power some yeras ago. So it seems like somebody would like to see a new version of Jem an the Holograms, theirby busting other concepts like said TC or She-Ra. But I can´t imagine this to be real. If anyone would want a new series like that, have ´em buy the rights to Jem.

I think it’s pretty safe to say that this idea has been abandoned - some concept art from this proposed series has made its way onto the Internet, and IMO it’s unlikely that WB would allow that material to leak out if they were still going ahead with it. 
One can only theorise about why WB decided to abandon the concept of reviving the TCats TV series and go with a movie instead, but I wouldn’t be surprised if negative fan reaction to this leaked idea (which surfaced some time ago now) helped convince them to change direction. Which is a relief to ThunderCats fans everywhere, I don’t think I know a single person who thought that this was a good idea!

Yeah - I don’t think anyone would have liked the whole ‘Rocking Thundercats’ image they were trying to put out. Some idea’s work, some don’t. This was just one of those lame-brain ideas where someone believed that merging rock music and Thundercats would work. Tis like mixing ice cream and spaghetti. Eurgh. Ice Cream Spaghetti

Well the idea of the 'Cats being a teenaged rock band isn’t that great but I wouldn’t mind a Teen Tiatanish look and feel for an animated show if we were ever blessed to get one. The animators of Teen Titans are now working on the Transformers animated show and they’ve done a great job with both the art end of the show as well as the storytelling.
I’d just like to see a 'Cats cartoon a lot like the Transformers animated series is now…a show that would bring in a new generation but give we old schoolers a wink and a nod every once and awhile.
But then again the Thundercats as rock stars does sort of make sense. They are as Cheetara said “The best of Thundera”. They would have been famous nobility and “lived” a life of glamour had Thundera not been destroyed.

Well I suppose perhaps the exact style would not serve the property well. I just mean the melding of new with old.
