I hate Warner Bros (Thundercats Season2 DVDs)

I dont live in the US, and i have spent like 75 dollars on thundercats s1 vol1, and 70 dollars on s1 vol2. I bought the packs because they came with spanish audio so that was worth a lot to me because i watched the show in that language as a kid.

Now, reading on some dvd webpages i just found out that thundercats season2 will only come with english audio. Now how the hell does a company does that kind of crap to the buyer. They release half the series with some languages and the other half they do what they want.

Im really p****d off with so many thundercats mistakes that warner bros did, and they keep making them. This leaves me no choice, i will not buy the other packs and ill just keep half the series, thanks to warner.

I know some articles have stated that there is only a English soundtrack, but then they also stated it comes with 5.1 sound. To be honest I definately can’t see that happening, so I’m betting the leaving out of Spanish audio on press releases is a mistake as well.

However, IF indeed it isn’t a mistake feel free to vent your frustration here, but please keep with the rules and try to avoid any bad language, however minor the language your using is.

I really do think that it was a misprint on WHV. But just like Neil said, if the spanish audio track is missing from the upcoming sets, I would understand you being upset. Hopefully it was just a minor snafu on their part for not includng it in the press release.

Amazon.com

Amazon.com has just updated Its “official” info on the set, and it too implies that there is no Spanish track///

"Available Subtitles: English, Spanish, French
Available Audio Tracks: English (Unknown Format), French (Unknown Format)
34 episodes on six discs
The Rembrandts music video
The music of Thundera
Bernie Hoffer: Live! "

few things to ponder..

1.They have forgotten to include the specific “making of the music video behind the scenes” bit, so that’s odd in itself that they wouldn’t include that in the list. Why would that be excluded if in fact they had an official update from Warner. Perhaps they just figured mentioning ‘music video’ would suffice?

  1. Maybe there is no spanish track to make room for the supposed 5.1 English audio track? Doubtful but possible?

  2. Maybe the Spanish track was removed to make more room on the discs for a better quality transfer? oh one can dream

  3. Maybe the update Amazon received was from a third party and not directly from WHV? not likey but I guess it wouldn’t surprise me actually?

  4. How about it just being a misprint as mentioned above? you would think they would follow the same trend as these sets were probably already completed to a certain point by the time the first volume was released and all they are doing is working on extras and box art etc for their releases? I know they wouldn’t necessarily have them 100 percent done since they would probably rely heavily on how well the sales are, but still, a possibility, no?

Anyway those are just some of my thoughts, hoping that the Spanish is included for your sake, but wouldn’t shock me if Warner switched it up, knowing them.

No spanish track…but hey spanish subtitles. I also grew up watching them in spanish so it would be nice to watch them in spanish to kinda remember those times…but im just happy to get them on DVD

I feel your pain man…

Howdy

What the hell is going on with WB, it can’t be rocket science to release good quality consistent boxsets can it? If BCI (He-Man) and Metrodome (Region 2 Transformers) can do it, WB have no excuse.

Sorry for the rant and I am sure these complaints have been made before but all this latest news on “ohhh it may have an English 5.1 and no Spanish audio track” annoys me, they should do it for all or do it for none.

Okay I’m done.
