How much will complete thundercats vintage collection be?

How much will the complete thundercats collection will be i.e. including every single figure and vehicle and beasts.

Not much if you consider buying them used. If you are referring to brand new items, prepare some big buck, probably more than $5,000.

Doesn’t 5000 seem a bit low considering a bengali and pumyra along can cost about 1000.

I guess that depends on how much money you have to spend. Completing the collection even in used/loose form is still something I would consider costly :).

I have to agree with adssse on this. Even in used/loose form, a complete collection can be pretty expensive. The price of each item depends on:

  1. Condition (MOC or loose) and (paint wear, loose joints etc)
  2. Completeness (with or without accessories)
  3. Rarity (Bengali will be more expensive than Lion-O)

So it really depends on what type of collection you want.

  1. A complete MOC collection (for which you will probably need a small fortune!).
  2. A complete loose + accessories collection.
  3. A complete loose - accessories collection.

You also have to take into consideration variations as well as figures produced by other companies like “Playful” etc. if you want those to be part of your collection.

Personally I doubt if option “1” will be feasible because even if you have ample funds, some figures are impossible to find carded (e.g. the Laser Saber Bengali)

But even a loose figure collection will by no means be cheap. Something like the “Cats Lair” or “Tongue-a-saurus” can easily set you back hundreds of dollars. I would recommend that you make a list of all the figures that you want in your collection and then do some research on EBay to get a rough idea of how much each goes for. That will give you a better idea of how much the whole collection will cost. Good luck :thumbsup:

Money will always be an issue (some are so expensive), but I know I get so much joy out of both my cheaper and more expensive ones. I wish you the best in you journey of collecting.

Yeah. I think the way to do it is perhaps just get bit by bit. Just enough to satisfy that collecting ‘urge’ for a while.

I can’t see myself getting Pumyra, Bengali, Lynx-O or any other costly ones anytime soon. I am pretty happy I got the Tomb Fortress (in it’s original box too) for such an affordable price as Mumm-Ra is my favorite villain in pretty much anything and that Fortress makes the perfect backdrop to my Classic Mumm-Ra figure. :slight_smile:
