So Thundercats is already better off then Young Justice, despite Young Justice bringing in better ratings. I wonder how the big wigs make their decisions. Probably a lot of back and forth negotiation.

I wish we were guaranteed more for both of these shows, but I have a feeling we’ll get more than whats promised.

I’ve been reading today in two different forums that people say that the first season will have only 8 episodes.

So just to be sure, we have confirmation that the first season will have 26 episodes right? I don’t know where other people got the “8 episodes per season” thing, anyone knows about this?

So do you think that people are confusing the number of episodes for the DVD with the number for the whole season? hmm that could be it I think.

Anyway 52 episodes are good enough but a third season wouldn’t be bad.

I think it’s possible they are.

And 52 is a good number. That’s where most american cartoons end. But let’s hope it goes higher than that without loosing steam.

This. I totally agree with you.

I recall He-Man 2002 having a very, very slow start and a lack of interest. However, despite this, I totally agree that ThunderCats 2011 had a fantastic start. Personally, I’m getting an Avatar: The Last Airbender vibe with the new series, which is definitely good in my book.

While I am a fan of animation, what interests me mostly with any animated show is a good story arch. I have a lot of faith in this series.

And I have been enchanted and captivated by the arch since minute one!

If the new Thundercats series becomes the great success that I think it will become, Warner Brothers and the Cartoon Network just might change their minds about the show running for only two seasons.
