Question for manny or any of you other experts. How many different companies were given rights to produce t-cat figures worldwide. I know only of 2 different companies..LJN/Rainbow…and the Playful variations. I ask because i’ve seen a different company logo on a cheetara on e-bay recently. Any clues??

The Cheetara you have pictured is a Rainbow Toys Cheetara. Check out this page for a better pic of that logo:

It also lists nearly all the companies that the LJN figures were licenced to. I think the only one missing at the moment is Mac Play. That should be added later.
…glasslite in brazil produced some cool thundercats in boxes, Unitoys in Venezuela produced mini thundercats figures.:bengali:
In fact, Unitoys made some more items. They made standard size figures from Lion-O, Mumm-Ra, Cheetara and Jackal-O. I think the molds are the same from Playful, because they don’t have the light eyes feature, but it haves the arm lever. Cheetara’s suit was painted in blue instead of orange. Also made two childsize kits, one with the Sword of Omens and a shield and the other with the Claw Shield and a Lion-O mask. Pretty nice!! If anyone want to see some pics from these items, just let me know.
Post the pictures here so we can all see.
I’ll try to post some pics later on this week :liono
