Hey all just wanted to give a heads up that our friends over at Hollywood Heroes have been designated as the exclusive broker to a historic Thundercats collection. We will be covering this collection as it unfolds and will be posting updates as soon as it is available. This collection is from a former employee,. Below is our front page news.

Our friends at Hollywood Heroes were recently named the exclusive broker to a historic collection of ThunderCats items including prototypes, toys and artwork. ThunderCatsLair will be covering this historic finding over the next few months. Wow, thanks for finding this stuff, Manny! I’m not too keen on the toy concepts, but the animation proofs are wonderful! You should have them archived here at TCL! It would be a shame to let them get away.:cheetaraveryhappy:

talking panthro??

Hi, I’m a ThunderCats collector from the Netherlands. I was wondering if there is any proof that the “talking panthro” is actually a talking panthro.. It looks like a normal panthro without the battle matic action trigger removed… Why would they even try to make a talking panthro? Wouldn’t kids rather have a talking Lion-O or Mumm-Ra? It doesn’t make any sence..:panthro:

And I love this site, it looks great! I’ll try to post pictures of my collection. It’s pretty big, I’m the proud owner of 405 TC figures (including A LOT of strange variations, weird paint jobs, missing limbs and first issued figures), 100 comics, books and magazines and a lot of other stuff..

Wow, it is so amazing that we are getting to see even more Thundercats rarities 20 some odd years later. I love seeing this stuff!!

Yeah I read the comments on the ebay pages and they have a ton of stuff.

I wonder if I could max out my credit cards on Tcats stuff, and then file for bankruptcy!?:smiley:

I wouldnt do that myself. On a side note I wanted to let you guys know that TCL has acquired already from this collection 2 pieces of concept art, the first one is of the unproduced Feliner and the second one is from the unproduced Thunderstrike. Items are already on the way and we will be unoffically displaying them via this thread once they arrive. Evemtually thse pieces will be archived in our Prototype Toy Art section.

Will there be any more animation proofs? If so, then archive them as fast as humanly possible. Don’t let any of it get away, Manny!:smiley:

I had similar thoughts to you - however, I find myself wondering whether perhaps the Talking Panthro was part of some sort of “ThunderCats Deluxe” line that was planned? I know that LJN were going to release a Lion-O and Mumm-Ra both with some sort of “leaping” action feature, the Mumm-Ra was going to come with a cloth cape and the Lion-O was going to come with an extending Sword of Omens - maybe Panthro was tentatively planned as part of the same idea or something…? :slight_smile:

I’m sure I speak for everyone here when I say that I’d love to see your collection, it sounds very intriguing and exciting! :slight_smile:
